No, actually have lost a little to the hotter weather. Still waiting on the next set then the lab work. As for the Apache, don't know, he had a full head of steam comming around the outside of me when I saw him and got into it, never looked back. By the time we got across from Potters he was a good 1/4 mile back in a one mile streatch.

And you and Apache Boy are both smokin' the same mix of buffalo dung and wood shavings. You better get a better blend and take another run at the Biotch, the present blend seems to be affecting your vision, and his sense of reality. Might have been the residual effects of the Patron in your case.

We've all been hanging at the channel rather than the cove, nicer view of everything and the constant parade of boats in and out is interesting.

Whenever you come out, you always stay out on the lake side. Why not come in and say hi?

Kris and Ted, Jeff's buddies with the 311s came out from Sodus. Nice visit with them for a few hours.

Patron is a Mexican alcoholic beverage that makes smart people dumb, dumb people smart, and skews reality for the rest. It does not however come with a worm, so munchies are extra.:drink:
Patrons are usually upper middle class yuppie types, which leaves you and me out!!!

You were invited, so quit yer b*tchin'.

Most excellent on the Pondevous!! We'll assure there is an appropriate welcoming crowd. I'll get the Sandy Pond ambassador (Bruce) to organize the festivities. We'll make sure there is ample food and beverage (Bruce does work for Bud you know, we never run out of beer). I'll get our buddy Hal, aka BlenderMan, to fire up his concoctions.

I'll tell the Ambassador we need to adequately welcome the high-brow visitors from the Islands!!:drink:

Jeff, see if Kris and Ted can make it. We had a nice visit last weekend with those guys and their families. Ted kills me, he got things off to a good roll with the jokes. I have a feeling Ted would be one of the last ones to leave the fire at night!!

And Bob, cancel all of your other plans - be there! It might get chilly and I'll need your girls!!:p

It gets busy at the Pond so the earlier the better. But, we'll make space no matter what. Again, the Ambassador will assure that.

5PM, this means you'll actually have to enter the Pond. Shall I arrange an escort since you've never come through the channel before????

And, for you early risers, Cafe Pachanga always has fresh-brewed coffee going by 6 am. I love to get up early with Mike for coffee but more times than not my night time agenda doesn't make that possible. We'll see how it goes.

And finally, Ragged, stuff yourself full of cheese and then you won't have to worry about the morning routine.

ThirdBird 07-10-2008 06:04 AM

One more thing, Axa and Ragged, we need to have you guys do at least one full speed blast up and down the Pond. There aren't too many 90 mph boats on the Pond so it will be quite the show. Not a race, just a high-power, high-noise display. Cool??

Of course, our buddy Tim will want to take his newly powered 26 Scarab out there with you. He's got a spanking new 575 SC in that thing!! But, he still can't keep up with you guys.

We'll go out do a photo shoot.

Not in a Fountain. At least they're smart enough to stick the F'n thing off to the side where it's out of the way for the most part. Fountains have a real stringer system, you know those beefie things that keep the boat from flexing and shakin' and allow for a solid base for the engines, in contrast to the plastic grid deal they glued in your Formula.

This high-brow Pondevouser would like some tips on overnight dockage with facilities, though I do like cheese.:D

Be glad to oblige the Ponders. If you want pics of the Biotch better use the bow cam, the butt cam hasen't been able to get any shots of the beak, seems to have some malfunction, must have come from the same supplier as the GPS recall speedo.

Maybe solo runs would be more appropriate. ;);)

Mike and Joe...Mike has a 29 Baja and Joe has 29 fountain...Good guys..I always have a good time when I party with them..They are from the sandy creek area I believe..Joe went to school with J.P. so he gets him to come out to the pond for a nice little party.....Last year I was a day late...not to many people moving to fast..At that point I knew I must have missed a good party.. :ernaehrung004:

We do have facilities at the pond! Sand as far as you can see just grab your TP. a small shovel and go mark your spot..If that will not work out for you..let me know what time in the AM you would like the morning paper and we will clear out the sonic and you can use my Jabsco Mod.370010

I'm thinkin' that sand up my arse first thing in the AM would just ruin my day.

I gotta tell you that is one fine looking chitter you got there though. I like the idea of the "back flow preventer", seems like a key feature.
