Weather looks like crap anyway. You better have the shlushies going - if it rains we'll be draining the machines. Can I bring some mixins'?? Let me know what you want. |

Was it Norman? No it wasn't, couple guys with a pair of '06 35 Outlaws, both with 525s, one had ITS and short sportmasters the other reg XR set up. The guy with the xtra chit wasn't too impressed, they told him all the xtra chit was going to make his faster than his buddys. Apparently they both run essentially the same. The yellow one Axa had at was the one with the added chit, and it was a little gaudy, brite red interior. |

I'm not on the planing comittee, so probably just show up. :ernaehrung004: You plan to partake of the festivities? |

We've already rented out your dock boxes to a couple of Pete's fountain buds. Your boat has been rented out, my sherriff buddy and his girlfriend needed a place. If you're looking to sell due to lack of use they will definitely be in the market very soon.
Don't be sucking me into your financial dealings. I had nothing to do with it. I have a real boat I would sell your buddy, it's a Sheriff of sorts as well. :D |

We'll be there the same time frame except probably a little latter on Friday. most likely 5pm ish plus or minus a couple of hours for customs x2. during the week day most everyone heads back home and we'll be looking for anyone willing to run around the river with and burn fuel. |
Is anyone going to be up there Wednesday? I am planning on being there early afternoon staying through to Sunday.
Rippem are you going to be up to the river during the rest of the week? Call me if you get a chance .... Jeff |
Jeff,
We are planning on Wednesday....But, you already knew that! Dave |
Alright...A little off topic:
Please describe an incident where you or someone you know had the chit scared out of them. This does not have to be a boat reference, but I'm sure some will. We are not discriminating between brands, but don't offend anyone. I'll start: I think that if we, Doug and I, had not gone into the first right-hander in Biloxi so fast, neither one of us would have chit our pants. Neither of us did, but it may have been close. Bring them on…..Bird? (Make sure you tell the whole story…Gail and I are still chuckling) Dave |

Dave I always thought it was really just a figure of speech to say you got the chit scared out of you. Well, it really happened to my little Bucky-Boy! He chit himself!!!!:D |
On the topic of chit, for those of you following along, our little feathered friend appears to have made it through Mich. And how was your lunch hour?

5PM is real good at stirrin' up chit so it would hold he would be an expert at poking around in it. Sorry to hear Bucky chit himself, maybe he and Axa can swap stories this weekend :o. Do think I'll pass on that session though. |

is was nice to get back to the boat, been a little busy
this project: http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...d.php?t=192374 the corolla has all new rear brake lines from the master cyl. back I had a faaart and hit something I know all about with the mower deck and bent an arbor housing all to h&ll- the shaft and bearing were fine, amazing considering the hit. It was steel hit it with the center blade-stoped cold- even tweaked the arbor flange on the deck, and this isn't lightwieght stuff. It hopped the belt in the deck...the shaft drive never missed a beat I need to mow this place...when it's not raining! Throw a couple days a week at work in there... I've been out straight. :grinser010: look forward to meeting you in person tomorrow Jeff. |
'Bird, you got Dexter 12x2 surge drums on your trailer?
I've got 6 new wheel cylinders that RedDog382 sent me gratis :ernaehrung004: that he couldn't use after Kodiak-ing Now niether can I. :) I have six good drums and thier matched bearing sets. I numbered everything together. The bearings and races are excellent not a mark on either/any. Seals gone of course. the assemblies themselves can be scalped for hardware and backing plates- the existing shoes and wheel cylinders are beat. If you can use the stuff for spares ect. yours for the taking first or anyone else? otherwise they go to scrap/junk |

Dave Could be, I ain't seen the F'ers yet. So much for the we are in this together chit, I'm starting to feel like the guinea pig that bent over and squealed. You keep them and tell Brett to send me something close to 3K and we'll call it good. Then I'll call the guy at Hering back, which is looking like where I should have started in the first place. P.S. Get your hole plugged? Aero could be impotent this weekend. :evilb: |

No call yet to decide the ship method, so I guess I'll have to call again. The weekend outcome, if in fact there is one, won't change. Only the margin will be effected, by how much depends on how much of her earlier nasty attitude the prop guy can restore in the Biotch. He says he can get most, if not all of it. :p Though optimistic in the talent, seeing will be believing. I still think it needs a taller prop to take it up to the next level. As for the status of the "Event" , not a clue. It was thrown out for some discussion last weekend. Don't think a solid decision has been made as of yet, I have made a decision as for myself, but will keep it to myself until it is appropriate. |
