I was browsing the fountain forum and came across some one that was asking if any one knew of an anchor for his 42' fountain. Well I looked and pondered for a moment and I had to reply. "Yeah, A 42 lightning. Then, just as I went to hit submit, I stopped, thought, and said to my self, "self, These hoytie toytie fountain folk will not appreciate a reply like that". But aching to vent my sarcasm I put it where it belongs.
Let's get this thread moving again. It been pretty lame. Hey formula wanna be. Yeah you, Black and white other F word boat. I heard you can stir things up. Lets getrdone.
HOMER, nice launching this past weekend. If launching a boat were baseball you would be out. TWICE. MR Pachanga, as you can see your tax dollars are hard at work at this very moment.

We're running a kinder, gentler thread here lately. We don't need some dung beetle driving, donut munching, rabblerouser making trouble.

And, what's this about my launching last weekend? I had Mike's little "401K" out last week and you weren't even at the dock. Matter of fact, I didn't get a lot of the above post. Strange things go through your head on night shift, don't they?

First annual king of the river run has been postponed new dates are now anytime from the 4th of July to the 11th. :boat::boat::boat::boat: Who's in, and which dates work best for all. Work bites, current project is scheduled to be done by the end of June. Since I'm the lead I guess I should be there.

Officially In as of Friday, all systems good, boats running great. Ran into this pole and bead equipped beauty this pm while at a pit stop on the way back from a golf outing. Where is it? Some of you should know this one....

Must be the Formula secret performance testing area, I hear that's their latest attempt at an enclosed cockpit multi-hull. I guess top notch R&D does pay off.

We went up yesterday, by truck, to drop off the dock box and refer, and I can tell you it is surely a kinder, gentler boathouse. So don't get yourself all stirred up with this racin' chit.

Besides, I'm pretty sure the Biotch still rules the roost. :lolhit:

New King of the Boathouse, 74' 49 ton, WOT 9 knots at 1400rpm, this will lay waste to anything made of fiberglass....and Mich prefers the sunpad vice sitting between our bolsters...

Don't remember the name of the bar but that's Chris Martins shop in the back ground.I may have seen that rig at the pig roast before.

You are correct, The Boathouse in Constantia. Hey, any of you local boys got a 23 pitch mirage or mirage plus kicking around? I got a guy in Syr wanting to dial in a boat.

How are the old Boathouse boys? Are they out of jail yet?

Try HBW on the prop, they might have one. I actually have one but one blade looks like a sardine can lid, long story. Try HBW.

Looking good, at 6.5 knots you should be within your safe operating range, marginally. :lolhit:

Anyone in the bay this weekend?

axapowell 06-20-2009 07:27 PM

Yep

RaggedEdge 06-20-2009 10:18 PM

Maybe tomorrow, weather permitting. Spent today day getting my shine on while the other half did the wine fest in Clayton.

I was told that Adrenaline Rush has a new hot shoe throttle man in the seat. Apparently Doug and Jake / aka Cooter, did the poker run today in the race boat. Heard they had a little trouble with Aqua Mania and My Way though.

For all interested, my daughter's wedding went well on Saturday. Rain held off for the outdoor ceremony, only drizzled a bit on the reception which was in and outdoors.

Had well over two hundred people. My daughter and my new son-in-law have tons of hard-partying friends. Went through nine kegs and who knows how much at the bar $$$$$$!!!!!!!

It was a great time, everyone had a blast. Very informal and casual, Jessie told everyone "it's a party, not a reception". And a party it was.

Special thanks to Mike and Laurie (Pachanga Mike). They worked their tails off for us to help out make it a success. You're good friends M&L!!!

Hung out on the beach yesterday with kids close to the new couple and our friends. The young bucks got right back into it. Oh, to be young and run three days in a row. Not me, I was licking my wounds!!:drink:

Jessie and Austin are putting an addition on their cute little Adirondack house, they got tons of cash to help with that project. They have very generous friends!!!!!

axapowell 06-22-2009 09:26 AM

Glad to hear all went well!! Now, let's get back to BOATING!!

You're supposed to say you were sitting back and remembering the days when you too were young and enthusastic. Makes it sound like you actually have learned something over the years!

Good to hear all went well, now get up here and we can act old and stupid! In a refined and dignified way, of course. :drink:

Nice Randy!!! Frickin' nice today too. I'm over here at Nine Mile looking out over a flat lake.

'Bird- what's the status of the pond/dredging bit?

5PMSMWHR 06-25-2009 02:50 PM

Isn't there a poker run from the Wigwam in mid July to support the dredging efforts? Heard it was pond to henderson to mexico point and back to the pond. We were out yesterday as well, gorgeous, getting a little cloudy right now though...

Hot Stepper 06-25-2009 06:01 PM

I can't say the weahers been much better out here in Michigan. Pretty much hit-n-miss. This past weekend Sat was washed out in the am followed by being blown out in the pm with 15-25 knot winds and nice rough seas in the lake. We made it out Sunday - launched at Port Huron and made our way north about 20 miles to Lexington under cloud cover the whole way. About 3-5 miles from our destination we ran into fog and drizzel. Trip back latter was about a 50-50 mix of clouds and sun
