I must admit "HOLY COW" looked awesome ...... looking forward to talking to them this weekend in the Buffalo run. I miss the Boathouse this summer !!! Looks like I will see you guys hopefully Labour Day weekend. Jeff Wave the Bird Flag and do the Chicken Dance! :lolhit: Check it out, it is one awesome piece. Has it all! The bling, the outrageous tuneage, and it just flat out runs! Makes the Biotch feel like a slug. But then it's a Fountain! ;) See ya in a couple weeks, have a good time this weekend. Think about Nolans fall run in the Bay as well. Kelly may be back for that one, could be a fun deal. |
Oh Stepper
Odd there is no response here from Stepper. Must be he's recovering from his 9? mph ride in the Biotch and dock shock from Holly Cow!! Appears to have left him speechless.
Well as they say in Velocityville "Boredom comes Standard", then you opt for a ride in a real boat! |

That is as Ragged would say " That is a 9? something mph Slingshot" call "Bad Habit" with "got twins?" riding shot gun. What an awesome weekend(s) both the 1000 Isle Run and the Buffalo Run. Jeff P.S. That too .... is also a "Black Biotch Killer" :coolcowboy: |

That too .... is also a "Black Biotch Killer" :coolcowboy:[/QUOTE] Unfortunately you just can't take credit for what ain't yours!:lolhit: You Formula guys have a habit of hanging on the kudos of other brands, Bad Habit, the little orange Hustler. Where are the bad azz Birds? You're getting as bad as Hot Stepper. He claims to be King of the River just because he went 9? in the back seat of my Fountain with the true King in the port bolster. I am reasonably sure the Biotch can still spank your azz! :drink: See ya in a few weeks, just remember, you need to be on your best behavior for the weekend. None of that Buffalo 4:30 AM beer box hat chit up here!!! |
That is funny,
We decided to get a jump on the group by going dead nuts straight down the lake ...... wasn't that great of an idea once we were out in 4s and 5s ...... we shaved off 4-5 miles and OLD BIRD prevailed ...... The funny part is as soon as we got with in 1 mile of the 4th card stop I turned my head and calvary was coming hard .... those freak'in guys still past me. "Holy Cow" was reeling them all in all but a couple cats. Jeff |
Smack Talk
Now you guys are getting warmed up !
The beer hat shot was a posed photo opportunity Friday afternoon while Twins spun old school beats from the eight-track in his Studio 54ish cabin. Great sounding system by my standards, the blow-boaters indulging in wine and cheese might not have agreed. Bad Habit is an awesome Hustler with great paint and performance to match. Got Twins- how much of a head start did you take to the lake ? Regardless of brand, it would not be wise to bet against any full staggered #6 boat when things get rough, even one where the wife in the back seat screams louder than the blowers under the hatch.:evilb: |

We had a blast !!!! Jeff |
Pete,
Is that your excuse for not running in any big water? "Full staggered #6 boat" ...... My little 31 foot 22yr old Formula which is the same size as a 35 lightning go figure will give you a lesson on big water running if you would like :coolcowboy: It's a good job you have your big brother "Holy Cow" in your corner .... I was starting to loose faith in "the Reggie Boats" :lolhit: Jeff |

My problem is the prop azz that focked my five blades all up. I have a collection of wheels, more coming in the very near future, and I'm sure I could pull a set out that would reinstate your faith in "Reggie Boats" any day you feel you have balls big enough to try! So as I understand this you cheated your way into a 4-5 mile head start and still had you azz spanked by a Fountain that was playing by the rules? The little Porter fellows will surely be disappointed in your showing for the brand! You're apt to be booted from the Flocker Fellowship!!! |

Maybe this weekend. Dave We'll be there, looking forward to seeing you spring back into action! :drink: You do need to talk to Twins about this cheatin' chit, it reflects poorly on all you Flockers. We can understand Stepper taking credit for a big number in the back seat of a Fountain, but you Flockers are supposed to be above that kinda' chit. FYI. Party in the Pavilion on Saturday! |

Please take note " all the Big Boys" excluding another fellow Formula owner and a Hustler hugged the shore line where the "calm water" was ..... Hence right where you would have been ...... wishing you could hang with the true rough water boats. Now I'm not saying your big brother couldn't handle the big water with the "Full Staggered #6 Boat" or for example Geronimo ..... But you on the other hand ...... you would have been scared watching it on a video camera sitting in the boathouse on Sam's lap. :evilb: :lolhit: Jeff |

But if you think you have boat enough, I'm in, take your best shot. You get back to me! :lolhit: |

Slushies are fine, but nothing get the adrenaline flowing like some plain and simple good old hot rodding. Drive it like you stole it!!! In your case, if you're seeing horizon, you need more trim! So they tell me, I was distracted by some kayakers at the time. Be there sometime tomorow. P.S. Bigger they are, more chit they seem to hold. Appears to be the case. :coolcowboy: |

I'm working Saturday trying to get out of there early. I am also watching the weather .... if it is going to rain all weekend I'm not going to drag the boat up there. Hopefully we will miss majority of this hurricane Earl residual. Talk to you guys soon. Jeff |
Mrs. Bird and I won't be attending this weekend. Weather looks like crap so we're going to Saranac to visit the grandson. We can't keep up with all you go-fast guys anyway, we'd just cramp your style with our "liking the slow tour thing with Twins" program. You go blast from the boathouse to Singer and back three times and call it a good boating weekend.:p

Jeff _______________________________________ RUSH tonight! 30 years ago this fall I last saw them (for the second time) on the "Moving Pictures" tour. On this 30th anniversary tour they play the entire "Moving Pictures" album at the start of the second set, including "YYZ" (the incredible instumental from that album) and "Camera Eye" the latter which they have never played live before this tour. No opening act since 1986. Nobody can/will open for an act of this magnitude. as of the other day they are all 57 but have fun playing like they did together as kids (literally) and play for 3+ hours I've been following the reviews of this tour including two nights ago in Columbus... SPECTACULAR is the general concensus. Amazed by the youthfulness and and fun they have playing They are on 2 nights rest coming in to Syr. (sweet) My buddy is a drummer in a pretty successful local band he can't wait to see the Niel "The Professor" work that kit! Both the girls are young enough not to get the music, Rush was never a chick band anyway (see HairBand) but the quality of the production, the audience tie and stellar musicianship should blow them away... These are 3 very talented musicians who have perfected their art and love to play. We are in for quite a show! We are ready! :bong: |

I watched a documentary of them on one of the HD channels ... I think it was Paldia(not sure of the spelling) ... what a band .... what a success ... they talked about going from full blown electric guitars and bass guitars to the "modern keyboard" ..... "the wave of the future" .... it was a big change in there music ..... but they managed to pull it off. Have a great time !!! Jeff |
They have, with the help of an old producer friend, gotten back to the "power trio" thing, a harder sound.
The new material is pretty pure... "Beyond the Lighted Stage" is the band documentary that's playing limited now... Incredible 2 boyhood friends take up playing high school dances in a small town...eventually hook up with the eccentric reserved genius drummer son of a local tractor dealership owner who's working in the parts dept... The part about touring with Kiss in the 70's and after the show (highly irregular) in their rooms eating cereal watching TV and devouring (Niel) literature which is where all the fancical themes and lyrics have come from over the decades... ...resting for the next performance Niel losing his daughter and wife inside of a year, the future of the band uncertian, disappearing for 50+K miles on his bike in two years and returning to say to the other two what a tragedy it would be if they never played together again (so very true) these guys have always given work ethic, musicianship, and showmanship a new name. They are perfectionists as musicians and have written and performed perfectly some (many) of the most complicated rock arrangements ever by any band. Stoked. Especially after reading the reviews along the way. An older more dignified rock audience who appreciate the life story as well as the music behind this band and from what I understand- non-prior Rush fans, women and teens with parents at this show who really have no idea beforehand and all getting blown away. $100 to see decrepid Aerosmith playing sing along or $50 to see youthful, infinitely more talented Rush play for 3 hours... that was easy! |
wow. it was all that and more. just incredible. nobody left the show less than amazed

Labour Day Weekend
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone!
We had a blast as my good friends from Rochester Mike and Louanne did too. As always the boathouse went out with a bang! Thank god we had the "porch" and it was open. Thanks to Artie and Joanne. We didn't freeze. :lolhit: Looking forward to Vegas !!!! Loved seeing the Kitty Grin !!! Lots of laughs !!!! Jeff |
Jeff, ditto. Labor Day was a lot of fun in spite of the weather. Enjoyed meeting and hanging with Mike and Luanne, good people with a beautiful Hustler. Reopening of the porch was awesome for a couple nights. It was an excellent season from Oswego to Sodus to A Bay. Boats out, cleaned, and winterized already. Busy fall ahead.................why do the call them Roofies??? Hey Mike, what happened with the tire? That wouldn't happen to an Italian.......

It's been a month and not one post? Anyway, We took the boat out for what may be the last time this year (weather pending) Sat 70ish ran north up thru 3-5's in Lake Huron 20 miles to lexington. Stayed the night. Woke up to the sun shining bright on Sunday and the winds changed 18- degrees. took of morth again to Port Sanilac. Then from there took her out about 12-15 miles and sat in the middle of the lake (high 70's maybe even 80) the biggest wave out there was lucky to be 1 foot and was most likely a stray cruiser wake. Ran back to the river on a flat lake to find all the boats and chop in the river. Still a great lasty run if it is. SO any other fools out there still have their boats ready for that one last run or is it just me?
|
That sounds great Al, I'm jealous but unforntuneatly I have been working a Columbus day sale for the last 4 days.
I just winterized my boat yesterday afternoon and put in the garage for the winter. Time for the sleds to come out. It is going to be a long winter for me. I just made the appointment to get knee surgery. I can't take it any longer. So on that note I am note sure how much riding if any at all will be in store for me this winter. Jeff |

Wedding in Vegas
Well it's official Mike and Kitty are the new "Mr. & Mrs. Corcoran".
It was my pleasure to witness there wonderful day in Las Vegas with some of their family and friends. Seeing them smiling together that day was as electrifying as the water fall show at the Bellagio at nighttime. It was my first time to Vegas .... and I couldn't of asked for a better time. From the flipping of the bottles by Rene at the Carnival to the flick flic flick slap flick slap flick offerimg "Hot Girls in 20 min." to the sights of the magnificent resorts to the "Sun Buggy" dune buggy racing we (boys) did in the desert to an off the hook dinner at Carnevino Italian Steakhouse followed by an absolutely perfectly planned wedding at the Venetian Resort on one of their beautiful terraces. All in all we had an incredible time. Thank-you for including all of us on your special day! Congratulations to the both of you !!! Jeff |
An unbelievable time was had by all!!!
Twins has only hit the highlights...The rest is, well you know, what happens in Vegas... Congrats Mike and Kitty! Dave |
