Thanks, not sure Alan can swing the deal....has a boat to move first. He loved it and said it is super clean. I have been promoting it to another bud in the market too.

July 4th ??? Is a certain slip available ? :drink: Are there fireworks from the castle ?

Orange boat ? Am I getting Hustled ?

Plug away, I believe the time to end the two boat ownership has come, so I hear. It is for sure the cleanest one out there.

If you're thinking the Bay for the 4th I will make a call in the morning and see what I can come up with. I'll call you tomorow! Yes, fireworks from the Castle but not sure what night.

Wouldn't worry much about the orange boat if I were you!:lolhit:

Some just can't find the defender of their brand and in desperation they throw a ringer into the mix.

Good thing is if Kelly shows up on the 4th, Sam's lap gets a break...there's a must have pic!

I plan to leave a little grippy spot to attach that Azz Cam, you best practice that smile! :lolhit:

P.S. Tell Twins that the Farmer might just have something for that little Orange boat, hell with the new wheels the Biotch might too. Did I ever say it had not been in the water yet this season???
Don't believe I did!!! :evilb:

The Orange boat and the big Red'n'Yellow boat isn't in the least worried about Ragged!
Matter of fact team FORMULA isn't either! :coolcowboy:
Glad you brought up "ringers" ..... yes the farmer's boat is definiately a contender from the "Reggie boats".

Did you remove your compass this winter so you can read the names on the back of the Orange and the Red'n'Yellow boats and a Formula in front of you? You might want to use that Dewalt of yours and get that handled. :lolhit:

Always bring my A game, IMO it ain't a ringer if it's one of your own! :lolhit:

This thread has been pretty dead for a long while, why can't we spice it up with a little banter and just have some fun without anyone getting their nose out of shape. You guys all bust on me cause I'm Johnny Come Lately, the Little Guy that strains to see over the dash. Chit I wish I was six foot tall and had been in the water a month ago, likely not to be and for sure didn't happen this year.

Compass is still there, just going to keep looking around it. ( beats having to live down actually removing it ) The Burbon is always ready! Just need some little pink shoes, a warm lap, and I'm in! :drink:

The pond boys will be in the Bay this weekend, hope to catch up with you guys. I don't drink bourbon but will have plenty of Natural Ice to share.

No bent noses here, just a different attitude. I like to boat, and my definition of boating is much different then yours. I have shown how my brand stacks up against the rest several times. I am very proud of that. I have no desire to go out and pound the chit out of my equipment over and over just to prove a point. Pretty certain that point has already been made. So if you want to pass me this year, have at it! I'll yield every time.

Sin_or_Swim 06-15-2011 08:13 AM

We will be up Friday afternoon over in the lake of the isles. Then probably hang on the town docks a bit Friday night. We will have a 25 outlaw, two 29 outlaws, 36 outlaw and a crying 4 month old with us.

5PMSMWHR 06-15-2011 12:06 PM

Pond People, this weekend is Poker Runs America Thunder in the Bay. Town dock space will most likely be nonexistent, Friday a bunch of them will be on the town dock in the water and Aqua-Mania, etc... will be on trailers downtown...

Sin_or_Swim 06-15-2011 12:45 PM

When there is a will there is a way. Been there for thunder in the bay several years running and some how some way we get dock space, (it may be something to do with the wifey being a local but don't tell her).

Any poop on the new My Way? Rumor had it it that it would debut at the A Bay run. Might be up saturday to drop the dock box and slip chit, do you know when the departure from the Bay is?

Also heard today thru Wendy that Captain Morgan will be right behind me for the 4th. Guess I need to do a test on the midnight Flocker alarm and find a better spot to hide my hat. :lolhit:

New My Way was "testing" two weeks ago. Got to see it come down and pull the wide u-turn while sitting up on top of the peak of the bridge up in Ogdensburg (one-lane construction). Don't think he was pushing it too much as there was still a lot of stuff in the water.

You aren't kidding. Things are good. Big Boat plans went on hiatus after I bought a place up on the river just outside Morristown. One of those pay to keep it in the family deals. Got lucky last week had a 75ft tree come down on the place but 100yr old place took it in stride with less than 500 bucks in damage.(Tree removal was a different story!) Putney's Tree service in Waddington is an amazing outfit if you need anything done! If I am ever putting around in the little Power Play or stopping through the bay bay will swing by the boathouse

Just remember Quiet Hours begin at 11:00 PM!

I hear there is an internal memo circulating @ HBW to modify and make that inclusive of demonstration of excessive Blingerizing past that hour as well. If it's not enacted by the 4th I can always wear my sunglasses. So long as you don't put them on that head of yours and get them all out of shape on me again. :drink:

Kelly O 06-17-2011 06:40 AM

Sorry, I will not be able to make it to The Boathouse for the patriotic festival of speed, bling, and bourbon tasting.

Looking forward to coming up in August for the poker run.

Thanks go out to Ragged who inquired about a slip for me, will have to wait till August to help balance the battle of the brands.

This is probably for the best. "Quiet Time" would definitely be over if Twins and I had an stereo sound-off, after debating whose underwater LED's were brighter.:evilb:

Rippem 06-17-2011 07:32 PM

oh, how I do miss the fun and games!

miss all those weekdays on the River and at the beach just a little more though

negotiating that second kid friendly-big cockpit-hose down day boat.
After all the time we've spent out in the Lake with Matts '95 GW 225 Tourney Dual Console, I want a GW in that size boat, built like a tank! EXCELLENT ride quality!
a Grady Seafarer 228 WA cuddy outboard (in a well, Matt's is on a bracket and it works excellent, wish this one was...) with good mechanicals, needs cosmetics (just what I was looking for) and a LoadRite Galv tandem trailer (needs tires).
Doc I used to work with lost interest in it a couple years ago. Grass growing around it in his backyard 2 yr old wrap on...
CHEAP is where we at. Just looking at what I want to spend to bring it back.
They are safe, dry, soft rider with big cockpit and small basically berth only cabin with head under (3 females)...

Other than that-
60% of the inside of the house is done, upstairs and two big front rooms done, down bath done, 2 more of the 5 BR's to do downstairs, the gameroom, the big farmhouse kitchen will be last (and expensive relative to the rest)

Those that have been by will get the following:

That post and beam 32x50 barn turned into a functional 3+ garage with a 12' x 8' Buildmark STS door (nice door), loaded belt drive opener, new windows, electrical throughout, and has been sided. Now exteriorly 100% maintenence-free

120 tons of asphalt going down Monday- 3" finished, narrowest 10' wide, realigned both sides of the circle, 20' wide at the shoulder and otherwise HUGE, 20' wide back to the building, 10' x 40' parking lane to the left of the "garage", bigger circle radius ect.

I start painting the big building late next week or the week after (2400 sq. ft., 2 coats)
Landscaping
+ all the usual day-to-day required to keep after a big place alone.

That new Gravely ZeroTurn saving me some time though! Can't believe I went so long without one!
Did a FULL resto on the Sunstar. Looks damn new and I've had it 16 years. Now retired to bull-work and back-up.
They both have 60" decks so I can mow alot of lawn fairly quickly!

353 might not even get wet this year...
I'll be back in it soon though.
Just thought I'd post as I don't check in to your circle often and some of us go back a long ways...
couldn't justify shopping for a cottage until the home front was minty...
Have fun gentelmen!

Hey Rip, nice to hear from you! I've been kind of tied up with domestic chores also. Nothing on your scale though. Sounds like you're enjoying the ranch.

Lately, I haven't been so excited about boating. It's alarming!! But, maybe it's the stupid-high gas prices, maybe it's that I've been boating since I was about eight. Either way, just don't have the urge I used to. We'll see how it goes. Maybe it's low T, probably ought to get some of that stuff on the commercial!!!:grinser010:

Later Dude.

Hear you on this one. Just not feeling the urge myself this season. Spent today mowing the lawn and setting up a new kitchen stove. Maybe it's an age thing, I'm hoping just the results of a chit spring, a river full of crap and way to many irons in the fire. I will be ready for action by the 4th, I think!

Which pills you talking about?

Rippem 06-20-2011 06:23 AM

sorry to hear if any elders are in failing health. I see it every workday. Saddens me more so than about anything I see.
Maybe having to do with the fact that the potential continues to draw closer for all of us.

On a more positive note-
It's 7:18 and there's all this roadbuilding equipment in my yard!
The man says to me "we're gonna make it black today", "you're gonna have one top-shelf driveway "
:)!

axapowell 06-20-2011 04:06 PM

Hey Rip!

Glad to hear from you as well!

Good luck with the paving project!

If you had made it to the boathouse this weekend, there were more Formulas then SeaRays!!!

Had another 353 in da house! We welcomed Wild Cherry to the Bay!

Question for 5P,

So what's the Facebook deal about someone being harassed by authorities from a third world country while in limp mode?

First off, I'm not sure Canada is a 3rd World Country...secondly, you have to USE your boat in order for it to break...and finally, a simple matter of fatigue. A broken / cracked rocker polylock caused some clatter, and was been replaced NASCAR style with only a few laps lost in the pits. Back on the River in less than 2 hours. Not taking any chances, I ordered all new rockers with new polylocks.

As for the OPP, they just wanted to check out my boat. If you haven't heard yet, there is some serious harassment going on over the border these days. :poopoo:

Not up at the boat this weekend due to the weather and things at home need my attention. Long weekend coming next week with the 4th!

Twas 5P that made the comment on Facebook not me, I assumed his reference to a third world country was ment to mean Canada. Just curiosity on my part as I had no idea.

Samantha has told me of the talk on Facebook and I did read the article in the local paper about the fisherman. Sounded like an isolated deal to me, the State Department upheld the action of the Canadains, so claimed the article. Is it more widespread than that? The illegal fishing deal is the only thing I have heard of so far. Guess I'll find out soon enough, boat needs gear lube, gas, cockpit carpet and a launch. Maybe tomorow down here to test some props, A Bay towards the end of next week.

5PMSMWHR 06-26-2011 06:08 AM

The fisherman that got snagged was from B'ville. There's been some good articles posted regarding the politics of it. They say it should be resolved in a couple weeks, most are calling for a return of the guys $1000 and an apology. Currently it sounds like if you're in Candian water, your motor better be running, once you shut it down you should be checked in. As I said on Facebook, I say we get 30-40 boats with big ass American flags, go to Canadian water, split our sticks and spin on station for a couple hours, of course notifying local new authorities with a chopper. My only fear there would be that Canada would shoot down the chopper for violating their air space....

RaggedEdge 06-26-2011 07:26 AM

So is this a widespread deal or pretty much the single incident?

I remember reading in the newspaper some time back that there was to be a new task force located up here along the river. Believe it was to be HQ'd in Massena, not positive on that. Made sense to me, Res being close by and all.

RaggedEdge 06-26-2011 07:38 AM
