Ellen and I have returned from vacation (love that 42 Ex!), and looking forward to next week! I am meeting Vinnie from Mariner's Cove this afternoon to test run my repaired 29 and test a new set of props, will give you a report later. We need to get things finalized, especially anyone who needs reservations at the Holiday Inn for next weekend. Let me know!

Hi guys,the boat is ready but im sick,damm summer cold kickin my ass,but i did check the gearcase oils,fix the sterring,and the first nice day this week in it goes,maybe even mothers day if i feel better and have the time and weather permitting!! Tripps

OK all we are down to five days until the driver's meeting and I just wanted to review what's on tap so far. Driver's meeting at the Sonoma Grill next Friday 5/14 at 730 PM to make sure we are all on the same page...final route will be decided at that time, either outside in the morning (preferred) before lunch or in the afternoon after lunch...or not at all due weather and sea conditions. We will meet in the Connetquot river at approx. 0830 on Saturday 5/15 and go from there. If there are many boats we will leave in waves of 10 based on speed, etc. All this to be finalized at the meeting. We have been offered a place to dock at Mariners Cove marina in Shinnecock bay. It is located at the south entrance to the Shinnecock canal on the bay side and only a few minutes from Oaklands by boat. They have berths for all the boats and it is within walking distance of a very good restaurant similar to Oaklands. I think this will save a lot of grief with regard to parking if as many boats show up as we expect. Again, the route, time and distance are just about identical. Let's get this thing moving since time is short! Hope to hear from you all asap.

I'll be trailering to the Holiday Inn on Friday, I'm planning on attending the Drivers meeting, I'll just need directions from the Holiday Inn to there (I'm Long Island challenged). Is Herkshire park near the Connetquot river ? My plan is to launch there on Saturday morning, then hook up with everyone.

I will meet you at the Holiday Inn and you can follow me to the driver's meeting. Also, we can coordinate a meet the following day and we can go to the launch site, Heckshire Park, together. The river is less than 5 minutes run from the ramp, no problem. Let's touch base on Thursday to firm everything up, so far the weather looks promising!

Well my summer cold is leaving,thank god,my boat is still on the trailer,its ready,my friend stopped by with his 32 baha that was supposed to come with us ,had a leak in boat and we suspect a leaky bellows on his bravo,so he's fixin it now!! I'll be putting my boat in asap!! I'll let you know. Tripps
