The Cheetahcat 8 Fishing boat mold, Sides still on and the cross spars are on keeping everything Honest..
the Iron Maidens are holding Bulkheads exactly in place for lamination.

This was a critical dimension as the hatch grid rested upon them.

There were two small pieces removed one from each side which provided for the combing and allow the mold sides to release outward, Note There are Two axles on the hull mold as the balance changes with the sides on the mold.

We are doing sport deck for the 43 Cat, this was to have jet ski storage between the engines,South Florida influence can be seen in the windscreen. That loft behind it had a 16 meter long glass cutting table under was the carpenter shop both feeding the glass shop.

Default Great stuff

Steve, I just want to take a moment and thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge with us here on OSO. It is fascinating to follow along and watch your boats come together. I've had various boats built over the years and love seeing first hand how these boats get built. You have devoted a lot of your time to this so......... again, thank you.

Yes they are still around over there and the way I did the tooling we sprayed a clear tool gelcoat then backed it up with a color(the way I work here) only there I had a collection of Seymore tints and coded the small part molds for the use, IE: Open fish all Green the Sport deck and parts was going orange. so it would be no problem for them to continue. and there were glass patterns.

Dave the way the interlocks worked on the flanges it was a no sweat job to get a hull and deck together, perfect fit every time.

Cheetahcat 8 slow cruise, stock engine covers,I hit a seagull with a canard testing in Dubai Creek that morning (Bad Omen) took a while to clean all the blood and bird parts off the boat, the local boys shot us with a radar gun off a bridge.
