We moved our boat into a buddies hurricane rated shop in Coral Springs. Wasn't able to evacuate due to job, so we'll be riding it out in our place in Coconut Grove. About 1/2 mile from Biscayne Bay, but elevated 10-15'. Fingers crossed our shutters and roof hold up.

I'll keep anyone on here posted as to how it goes Sunday when it makes landfall...until we lose power.

Likewise current storm surge for the back side of FMB is 3-6' - docks can handle 10' before they float off the pilings. Everything off and stored below...

Tim and everyone else. Let me know if I can do anything to help and STAY SAFE! Hope and pray that none of the dry stacks look like Sunny Isles in 2005.

Well dudes and dudets, I'm pretty screwed just North of Tampa. I got supplies, gas, gen, water etc, but if I get hit hard, my 2 homes (not insured) will be tennis courts. I got hotel reservation in Ocala, JIC, but there is no reason to go. Where? All of Fla getting hit. All the best to FLA and me too

Good luck everyone, I doubt anybody brought their boats as far north as STL but if so I have some covered storage for a couple boats if anyone needs it for awhile.

Mad Props is locked away at Brand X with Dirty Money and several others. After bouncing from one hotel Reservation to another around the state deciding where to go the latest shift west has left us to ride it out at home. The shutters are all locked in place and the shop is rearranged to fit the 650, cars and bikes. Everything loose is secured.

The ****storm will be if our barn or one of our huge palms come apart and take out part of the house. All 7 dogs will be crated in the family room with us. We can run for cover but they will be stuck. Other than that we will see how it turns out. If we are without power and it looks bad we will secure the house and go away for a week or two.

The blue dot is approximate location of our house.

Hope to talk to everyone on the other side. To all my FL peeps riding it out with us, Prayers to you and your families.
