my dads boat is on the same dock. Small world. He doesn't seem to be worried but maybe he should be LOL.

Greatest hurricane ever recorded... not good is a rather big euphemism.

not to jinx the situation, (i'm down here too) but wake up and get some better news
down graded to 4 wind 155
similar path as last nites 2300 path.
class 2 by time it reaches orlando
while we're still gonna get hit and damage could occur this isn't the end of the world stuff we've been hearing.

Keep in mind if the storm was 2 mph stronger (157 mph) then it would be back to a Cat 5.

I was thinking the same thing when I read his post. Good chance it will strengthen before it gets to FL I heard this morning.

Moving into warmer water (ie: hurricane fuel) as we speak. 3* warmer water actually. From 86 and now entering 89*F surface temps !

If it could bump into Cuba it would help decrease some energy. We'll see.

Hope the recent the recent 'downgrade' as Jupiter mentioned..just 2mph difference...doesn't make people complacent. Don't forget it is based off sustained winds...does not acc't for gusts !

Good luck everyone !
