Your question is out of my pay grade. The heads were done back in 2013. All I know is that the cam is a Crane .531 and .551 lift 230 to 236 dur@050 112 or 114 lobe sep. Springs double with damper. existing cam The valves are .100 over stock length. I did change the pushrods to 1 piece back then.
and there aren't any valve seals in the exhaust valves.

The lifters seem to be pumping up but what if the oil isn't getting to the top or not enough and its causing wear of gouging on the rockers and balls. I started this up a few days ago and it did not look like much oil was on the rockers. Just a thought!

I ordered a set of compcam lifters and stock rockers
Now to figure out why your lifters are bleeding down like that under spring pressure, the answer is there. I put my earbuds in and had a good listen.

Those rockers look awfully dry. You run it with valve cover off and be certain it's oiling up there?

Why did you rebuild the carbs ?

Reason for asking, I was asked to listen to a boat the other month that was making knocking. Oh yeh it was ! Con rod for sure. Noticed person was having hard time jeeping engine running. Took a look and a needle and seat was not closing. Drained the engine oil and boy was it thin. Changed oil, fixed carb, and wallah….no more noise and engine ran smooth. Couldn’t believe the loud con rod noise totally went away.
