if they fit under stock low profile valve covers I would... I haven't found a set yet. Everyone says the polylock will hit the cover.
2 piece valve covers too expensive for me lol...I can get my covers off in 10 minutes lol and i don't need to remove the exhaust

Um, no. But that's okay. SOunds like you may be saying OEM GM 502 block Gen IV. Many other gen 4 block makers out their. Darts have a lifter oiling issue. More specifially stated above.

What lube did you put on the rocker balls when first installed ?

What doe your oil psi gauge say when idling ?

Anyway you can see if machine shop that set up heads has closed and open psi of your springs ?

You said valves have .100" longer valves. Did someone figure out pushrod length requirements when these heads where added ? Or are you using stock length pushrods ?

I think the later 502 style low profile covers may get you more clearance.

What lube did you put on the rocker balls when first installed ? Red cam break in lube

What doe your oil psi gauge say when idling ? 80 cold 60 warm after a hard run never drops below 40

Anyway you can see if machine shop that set up heads has closed and open psi of your springs ? I don't remember that one I know they were in specs with those double springs with dampers. I watched them test them.

I bought boat with these engines.
I don't know about the pushrods but I have an old intake 3 piece pushrod from this boat.. One of the the balls came off. luckily was laying by the head bolt. I then changed all to 1 piece

It measures 8.280 intake stock length

if those pics showed galling then I would say there is the noise. When the engine shuts down the pressure is no longer in the lifters so they will start to bleed down correct?
if the rocker balls are worn not smooth you can get a ticking? because they aren't smooth moving ?
