So, i’m not sure how stock length pushrods ended yp in a motor with heads that have +.100” valves. All else being the same (block and head deck height/etc) height, longer vslves will need longer pushrods. You’d have to go thru that process to determine what length needed.

You shoukd also find what your installed seat and open psi of the springs. The oem rocker arms can only take do much.

When all back fogether, and everything right, if oil is not coning thru rockers enough, tine to pull rngines and see why.

Lastly, just do you know, that worn off rocker arm metal has gone thru your motors.

True...maybe a reason to pull the motors soon. allthough I do change the oil every 20 hours and the filters. Every 10.. I know it's excessive but I don't like when the oil on the stick gets dark.. Probably a waste of a lot of money especially for this oil at $10 a quart but it's worth it for me. This has been an ongoing issue for me for many years and the motors are still together with great oil pressure.
Thanks
Hopefully the VR1 oil does a better job

There was a recent thread on here about a top end oiling problem, turned out to be missing oil galley plugs under the intake.

VR1 has a LOT of Zinc in it, a good thing in mho. You may want to use a strait wt like 40. Unless you live and boat in very cold temps. I know a lot of guys who use the Shell Rotella oil, multi wt too.
