Smitty the one thing you can't see is the intakes have either 2 or 2.5 inch stuffers in them, I can't remember. Hogan built them with big enough plenum so they could add length to the runners. We ended up doing that to get our torque curve where we wanted it. Sorry I dont have any pictures of the inside of the intake.

What a nice build. I should have a good comparison especially with the jones cams being fairly close at 255-259/724-724 114 lsa

I’ll start a thread when I figure out induction and close to being on the dyno. What intake cc’s you have on your rfd heads? Tks for sharing.

I just cked out your thread in the Ftn section. I’ll read all the post when I have a little more time but very impressed from skipping through it.

Not sure without looking it up may be mentioned in the thread. We built these with the intention of whipples. Dustin did the tune on these and we are thinking of the new gen 5 3.8 whipples. The one thing that worries me is keeping afr's and egt in check. When we rigged the boat we had imco put 3/4 inch pickups in the new fuel tanks, we run all -12 line to the water separator then to pump. After that -10 from final filter to engine. Its important that you can achieve needed flow but also maintain it for extended periods. RFD is going to soften the quench in the heads that will help with premature detonation. Had some conversation with Eddie Young about thoughts and his experiences with these. Won't be doing it till next winter but gives us plenty of time to research and amass parts.
