So yeah makes total sense but how’s that make the guy feel with the Happy afr numbers with only left and right o2 sensors. I know it only takes a split second to burn up an engine however I’ve always been a big fan of various rpm’s and whipping the throttles to cool the cylinders. When seeing how quickly they cools on a dyno at a young age I adopted it into real life.
Years ago I was always concerned with egt’s so welded in a bung on 7 or 8 or whatever cylinder ran the hottest. In fact I still have the egt meter and probe.

Yes the builder was Bersani. The engine was still in their truck when I got there and I noticed some mucked up things right off the bat. He did then admit to me this was the first roots blower engine he ever built........thanks RM Builder. Sounds like a road trip is in order to Frankenmuth, Michigan. No one around here understands blown marine engines. I've never been around dyno's or blown engines so no experience although been a wrench turner my whole life. Like I said, this is a one shot deal for me so I've got to get it right. Here's the cam card. Yes it has the cylinder swap. Not even sure which tails to run, dry or dry to the tip?

Something else to keep an eye 👁 on! Looks like some familiar specs from way back. Little less lift than full force.

Just the part when you mentioned they drilled the oil holes with the rockers in the motor would’ve sent me through the freaking roof!!!
Edit: mis-read what they were drilling holes in. Still would’ve flipped me out. Sorry to hear about this!

I find the dyno numbers to be fairly lean but hp numbers looking good which leads me to the following questions:
1. Was this "dyno" session simply a run in session to.look for leaks, seat rings, set timing?
2. What kinda $$$did you pay for dyno time, dyno labor aside from fuel ,oil, etc
3. Did you pay for carb tuning, jetting, calibration, etc?
4. Were you told it was ready to install in boat with that tune or were you told it was simply ran in , timing set but NOT tuned?
5. Did rm builder tell you at the time he provided your head and cam package WHAT your exhaust requirements would be, ive dealt with him multiple times and he ALWAYS has.
There seems to be something missing as to why it was left un-calibrated as a outsider looking at your numbers, am I "missing something", Smitty
