I’d start with a full carb rebuild and cleaning. Sounds like dirty carb issues to me. Also verify float levels. Too high and itll stall from excess fuel

Could be an adjustment. These are cone clutch style transmissions. Similar to a bravo drive. They are the weak link in these packages. Bam has a nice upgrade to make it a regular style transmission...

I would look at all the geometry and pushrods. Lots of natural deflection in a big block. A new rocker shouldn’t fail that fast. Likely an underlying issue in the valve train

Ditch fountains clamshell and use what diamond posted. That’s what I did with mine. Seal the fitting to the hull then I push some sealant inside the fitting before tightening. 4200 FC.
