Thursday was a big day, we lift engine in Fountain. It was pretty tight fit, charge pipes and turbo support piece had remove so engine goes in.
This was huge achievement after 6 years thinking and building parts alone. Here is some pics from lifting event.

this is the most incredible build I have ever seen. I love the gear splitter back in the late 90 there was a boat built with1 engine and 2 drives I think imco made the gear splitter

Russian battle ships smoke like vulcano! Maybe they burn something like asphalt as heavy oil fuel. Transmash have now just same fuel system than Dodge ram 12v cummins engines, fuel nozzles are modified Dodge ones and same kind P pump, so no Russian aircraft carrier smoke, I hope.

Surprisingly little design errors so far, all parts go together pretty well. Few centimeters adjust to some parts to get all fit but all good so far. Motivation to get this boat to test drive is now absolute high and things are going forward fast. My city want boat to show in watercourse week happening in 14.6.2025 but nobody know is it in water then. I make Jetsurf show there too.

First I drop engine as low as possible, dry sump pump is just about 20mm up from notch.

Then is time to find right places for exhaust holes. Welding stick engineering is safe and easy way to check that location is correct before drill two 170mm holes in transom.

This thing is trying to kill you. 170mm hole saw, when it suddenly seize, earth is moving out from its orbit, you know who have tried this....

No wood here, composite transom is easy to drill and work. No risk for water absorption.

Here you can see how wide engine really is, it was pretty hard to calculate where turbos have to be so exhaust is possible to make. Tail pipes have to be somewhere on transom.

96mm turbine wheel appeared from exhaust hole, holes are in right spot but I didn't figured out angle error earlier. Transom is 14degree to bottom and engine is two degree nose up, soften CV joint angles, so exhaust need to be 12 degree angled down from turbine housing flange.

Not a big deal, I cut pipes to parts again and cut 12 degree angle part between. Problem solved, maybe.

Hand up who else have cut carbon driveshaft to lenght on flower bench with angle grinder? You don't want carbon dust in garage.

Carbon dick to Fountains a$$. There is no other way to assemble driveshafts in boat, I'm happy that I figured it out and make these big holes in extension boxes.

First test fit and everything clears. Oil filters are pretty close but if it fit, it fit. No problem. Shafts are 2325mm long end to end, 2000mm carbon tube, vibrations is BIG question but tubes are light and rock solid, so I hope best.

Little girl have been helping me lot lately. She learn put zip ties to hydraulic hoses and have cleaned all small garbage out from bilge. Happy as always!

I used to run a repair shop for Makita power tools and I always hated those big drills that would break your arm when they jammed!

I have those big, 4”* hole saws that will do it too!
