As far as I have seen, the vast majority of the original 27s were twin engine boats, not singles as Trujillo says. I've seen several that were converted to singles, but Magnum made them as twins.

I would be very careful. if you're over the line and not near shore they will probably just chase you off but don't take the chance. I know a fisherman who was over the invisible line in Lake Erie....

I had glue residue in my cabin from some carpet that was glued in. I tried all sorts of solvents, but finally had great luck with mastic remover. wiped right off. good luck.

Why not just put a new cable in? I have 350 mags in mine and I use the cable steering with no problems. The speed is not high enough to warrant hydraulic. Let's see some pictures

The batteries in my sedan were mounted in trays in the engine compartment on the bulkhead in front of the engines. I moved them to underneath the rear seat. It makes access in the engine room easier....
