There is absolutely such a thing as 93 octane that is unblended. I work in the oil and gas industry and it can absolutely be bought it's just not often ordered.

Torch is an amazing lake I try to hit it up at least once a year. Water is generally cold but the scenery makes up for it. Traverse Bay is also a great time, try to make it up there.

As far as I'm concerned Northern Michigan is tough to beat for boating, wherever you choose you'll have a great experience. I'd def be up there more if it wasn't such a long haul.
