Ran a set of 23 hydromotives today. Water about 1' chop and 1/2 tank of gas (80 gallons) ran 61-62mph at 4400-4450 rpm. Boat definitely felt like it was more out of the water that with the 23 mirage...

I just ran my 336 today with a set of 23 hydromotives. Hole shot great, midrange seemed better but could only spin them to 4400-4450 rpm at 61-62mph or so with half a tank of gas and 1' chop. My boat...

They are great day boats. A little cork-like in ride... meaning that they bounce and bob more because of their beam width. It is one of Formula's best selling boats. Value depends a lot on condition,...

If the blackhawks are in good shape you could sell them for enough $ to buy a new set of bravo drives. The bravo drive bolts right up to the gimbals the same as the blackhawks. You might have to...

That is a heavy and deep boat for blackhawks. I have never seen them on a Formula.

G.L - I 'm pretty sure that the gas at Burlington is 87 regular unleaded. Shelburne Shipyard only sells 93 octane and is very close to Burlington

My silent thunder box rattled.....Took it off and ALL the baffles were delaminated and cracked.....took the box off and the rattles went away.

I didn't want to risk it. There was just enough room on the tips to install ruber flappers... not enough room to install clamp on mufflers IMO. I did not want to loose them at $400+...
