Sounds like a great setup. If it was mine... would at least run that 27 for breaking in the 555. It will also give you a great data baseline to pass along for the new prop build/selection. Good luck...

Always ran 93 in mine with no issue. If anything, advance the timing 2 more degrees to 10 initial and leave the mefi tune stock. Retarding the timing would be a mistake with higher octane.
