Ok
Is it Da*****rcury with the 36 Skater Quads?

And you've got the 32 Skater redo, nice project.
Are you gonna run 2 or 3 outboards?

KEVLARKAT32 09-04-2011 07:39 PM

Yes David has 36 with Q-2.5 . I'm poor so just have a pair of Shaun Torrente 3.2 Litre EFI strokers 370 Hp each on my 32

Larry

We appreciate your modesty Larry, but you've got to erase those "hunk of crap" words from your vocabulary when it comes to your 32 skater. It is evident that you do great work and that skater is rockin. Keep up the great work, and lets both gettem done this winter and have them in the water 2012! Right now I'm looking for a good electric heater for my storage space so that I can have feeling in my fingers when wiring the 36.:ernaehrung004:

Who's Coming!

http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/b...aja-plant.html

Ok, lightspeed, KEVLARKAT32, Waterboy222, and skate. Who is planning to bring their boat in the off season to have interior work completed by XT-Innovations? Just trying to get a good head count and provide enough indoor storage for the fall rush we get. We can even provide (all winter) storage if needed when the roads get slippery.

Anyone know this 28 Skater?

Slightly off topic.
MiamiSkater had his 1996 28 Skater with 2005 2.5's for sale last year.
I was wondering if anyone remembers what he was asking for it or knew where it wound up?

Double Rigged 09-10-2011 05:43 PM

Boat left S Fl about a year ago or more. Was for sale on oso for $25k on oso. Boat sold as it was in pieces. Heard from someone that it got new 300xs's installed. Is it for sale again? I think Ryan Beckly may kno more about it.

KEVLARKAT32 09-13-2011 07:11 PM

Is it even worth 13 K ?

wingmankw 09-25-2011 10:23 PM

does someone make a dash kit for the 24 or patch the the holes and start new just want to upgrade guages and do away with some. thanks

waterboy222 09-26-2011 11:05 AM

patch the holes, or cut the entire inside of the dash out and replace with aluminum panel...

Ryan Beckley 09-26-2011 05:39 PM

No one make a dash kit that I know of. Leave the old holes. Use a template to make a face plate out of metal of carbon. Try to use some of the old holes. Did you buy a 24'?

wingmankw 09-26-2011 06:03 PM

im in the process now should be done by end of the week. didnt know if there was a kit out there or not. so best thing would be to patch them up and start new?

Ryan Beckley 09-27-2011 08:41 AM

I wouldn't patch them up. I would cover them with a faceplate and just re drill the hole that you are going to use through the face plate. That is how we did my 24' with carbon fiber panels.

fordman813 09-27-2011 11:44 AM

Ryan are you racing this weekend?

Ryan Beckley 09-27-2011 06:51 PM

24 Skater Dash

1 Attachment(s)
My 1991 24 Skater has a similar Dash treatment.
Aluminum panels were made and covered in a carbon fiber plastic coating, by Tom Argue Design in St. Pete.
Think it looks pretty good.
