I asked him how much,, cause I figured you may be interested,, and he told me they usualyy trade between eachother when it come to getting their own hotrodds done. I mentioned you did some building, etc. and he sounded real interested ( he wants to build a bigger work shop he was describing what he had in mind, and it sounded a whole lot like your place :eureka: ). http://rustynutsgarage.net/ Rob is the guy I talked to.

Everyone Else:
Between the group, they have several guys who build high performance engines, and they are reall interested in big blocks and parts etc. So if you guys are short on cash and want to horse trade to get your shyt fixed,, they would do it.

Send them to Sandford and son's. Jeff's storage. I have plenty of shi to sell them.

that looks like a good deal. if the wiring is good and the engines are rebuilt like he says i would budget an extra 10k and in 4-6 months of install cleaning and all the extra little chit you will find you would have a sweet boat.:D

I would buy that boat for parts. Considering they are out of business and there is NOWHERE you can buy parts for it, good luck. The transportation would cost you 10gz to get it here (ask joew), my boat was in better shape than that one when we bought it and we are approaching 30grand on the rebuild of everything. Just by looking at it, it needs new apolstery, new bimini enclosure, new carpet (indoor and out), new cabin apolstery....thats probably another 10grand, and thats only what I can see. $800 to rebuild a generator...yeah right. Just throw it away and get a new one, thats what I am gonna do pretty soon. Recent rebuild on the engines means a new can of crusader blue spray paint and thats it. Like I said, I am seriously considering buying that boat for parts on mine....I could make a fortune parting it out across the nation.

Fu(k it. we'll hollow it out and put a turbine in it.

10k and 4-6 months was exactly what I thought too, 28k ago. Ignorance is bliss......we all have such optimism when it comes to rebuilding boats. :D We all want the dream of having a cheap boat that runs well, in reality it never happens, but it is still a dream.... :D :drink:

I learned my lesson about buying a boat from a company that went out of business..........but I will still take a scarab 29' :p for really cheap, even if I have to do a bunch of work, it will cost less than 10k and will only take me a couple of months....:D

BY U BOY 05-31-2007 10:44 PM

thats what we love about boating:rolleyes: :drink:

Trojan-man 05-31-2007 11:01 PM
