Thats a nice boat, The viper is freakin spectacular, so Im going to watch that auction and see where it goes. I also found a cig bullett, Im also,, pushing the deal on the conquest,, if he comes down to my number, I will probably end up with that for the season,, unless someone really thinks is a bad idea,
But thanks for the links,, especially that viper,, |

Take a look at the fiberglass around the exhaust outlet in the transom, is that cause for concern? |

So far there are no news reports of any fires at 105 storage, so Im pretty sure the grinding was a success. :evilb:
|
Kevin, If you decide to make a run at the Viper. Use this thing. It will keep you from getting bid up on at the last minute.
http://www.auctionsniper.com/ It works great. I have had good success with it. |

This boat looks exactly like the one I have with the exception of the colors. These are Wellcraft Scarab's though. A Larry Smith boat is built a whole lot better and usually lighter. Wellcraft did offer these boats with a Kevlar layup which would stamped on the transom with the Hull ID number. Not trying to dog this boat or owner just want potential buyers to understand the difference. If Hull ID starts with "WEL" it is a Wellcraft. This might help out jeffman too, I think he was confused about whether or not his was a larry smith. I also read that non of the Larry Smith scarabs were built with a cabin, they were all race boats..... |

Kevin, you should post this in the GD thread and see if someone in Illinois would be willing to look at it for you.
