I think the avs is a twin step model and I think is a faster hull, but I don't know if it is better riding

The AVS rides better IMO, but not enough to give up the speed of the TS Top Gun.

You might want to also check out the Active Thunder 37 AVH. Awesome hull design and great in the rough water. The layout and the cabins are very family friendly as well. Look around in the active thunder section and check out their website.

There is always the 39/40 Sutphen if you want a true wave crusher.

They are sweet. If i had the jack that is what I'd be looking at. Another Harry Schoell (sp?) designed hull. DDC -Duo Delta Conic. One of the few single stepped hulls that work well.

The new ones are twin stepped aren't they. I know there will be a brand new one with 600Sci's in clear lake next year. I can't wait to go see it. I think it will be at Miami boat show also.

Actually that 37 AT looks like a pretty cool boat and I am going to make an offer. But its got a notched transom and its 1ft. shorter LOA, so about 2-2.5 shorter boat than the 38 AVS. I want the length. I've done very well in life taking advantage of length... :eek:
