What's a map? One of those things with green and red and blue and lines on it. I'd need to know what the really safe areas are up north to spend more time up there. Some shallow areas come out pretty far from the west shoreline and I'm never really sure just where the safe areas are.

No map will show you safe areas up there. You need to follow someone that has lived up there their whole life. It has definitely gotten safer since they did the last stump chomp a few years ago but I wouldn't follow a map. There are a few tricks and landmarks you have to follow but they are better shown than told. Even when you know where to go you still get unlucky once in a while. I'm pretty sure almost everyone in here has left a prop blade or strut as a souvenir once in their life. Have fun:party-smiley-004:Have the Hutchins family show you. They are up there every weekend.

Last time I went exploring up there I took the ski boat because I thought it was lesss likely to hit something and I followed a fisherman and still hit a damn stump right in front of Cagle boat launch about 20 yards out. That silly little Bravo III prop repair was $600 at Baumann.

jeff1000man 03-21-2011 02:57 PM

They changed engines in this boat since last time it was for sale......

Put a tiki hut on either one of these, and you dont need a map to head up north, mark you own canals on your gps, and tell the game wardens and constables to F-off! :coolcowboy: :drink:

It was forsale a while back, sitting in the water behind a house in fort lauderdale, it may have sold to someone, who put some money into it, because back then there was no red paint, and it was no where near as clean. They were asking about the same price back then, but there was no trailer. Thats a sweet boat, only diesel gofast conversion boats I like better is the outerlimits vbottom that had arnesons and cat diesels, and the hustler that had yanmar diesels, both of those were between 70-95k though.

I believe you are thinking of the other one with black hull sides. This one had the red when it was for sale three or four years ago. They used the same pictures.

No, Im thinking about that exact boat, I found it on the canal when I was riding around back when I first moved here, maybe your right about the paint being there back then, I really dont remember it looking that clean, it wasnt clean at all in person, not sure why I think that red is new. The engine pictures are what made me a bit weary about the boat, I dotn know anything about the quality of the rig, just the wiring looked wierd to me.

SPK 1, did you see the magnum on ebay? Looks alot like yours for 175k. I wonder if you can reach out to him for some info on your rig and see what activity he is getting. Maybe it will explain the market. His is a 1983 refit, looks bad azz.

We need to figure out a way to make the Skank run on poop and bull $hit. That way would be the most efficient vehicle on earth. It would never run out of fuel. Always be goin' , $hitters never full.:evilb:

the full service marina i keep it in hasnt had a working shiat pump in three years and the first time they ran it this year some asswhole had so much old man ball hair and whiskey piss in his holding tank that he burned the brand new pump up. i have a toilet full to the brim with shiat water cause some dumb fuq whore put a tampon in my toilet at the last poker run i attended and until i can pump it out the boat aint moving... it bad enough when my beer spills but it down right stinks when the toilet over flows... maybe ill just open the valves and let the problem take care of itself ( it might even kill the spiders )

or maybe the 10% storage price increase "thank you for your business" in this horrible economy is to cover the cost of a new pump sufficient to deal with the remnants of the debouchery that happens in said establishment :)
