Great thread Jerry! Off topic a bit.....Block was fun this summer...what I remember of it. Looking forward to next yr. Personally, I think your nuts digging this deep into those engines, but that's me. I have trouble re-assembling a Lego toy after disassembly! Good luck and Im really enjoying your thread.... Oh, are the Arensons coming in the near future???
I know what you mean on the engines Jim wanted me to start the second one.. the nice thing is when ya got too
you can always refer to the one thats together .Arnesons I would still love to have them however and miss shooting the sh@t with Rik on the other
coast. But that will require a rerig Guess i will just suffer with the sixes for now.

Jerry, have you ever thought of rigging the boat like a plane or copter and running N1 at only two constant speeds, either idle, or run, then only throttle with the N2??????

as you may know the N2 in a helicopter basically is the rotor speed not the throttle.
I am no pilot however when you are operating a copter you bring your throttle up "n1" then you add collective pitch
"n2" this causes the rotor to cup the air "Collective pitch i think"
there is also a droop compensator involved in the copter. it was easier just to wire the whole
n2 wide open We decided to run the n2 governor safety wired "wide open".
