Congratulations on your project, hope mine turns out as well as yours did. Looking forward to a long hot summer. BTW, that b!tch sounds awesome, nothing like blower power.

Dan, Mike, Joe, Mike,

Kudos to everyone involved in this project! This is the best of what these technical forums are about! Your practical approach and attention to detail put up an outstanding number with an emphasis on durability.

I enjoyed the opportunity to work with Mike from Hi-Flow Heads (1.708.396.0505). His head work, especially the combustion chambers, was exceptional.

Thanks,
Bob

Thanks Bob. I thought it was a good number for what he has there. We really appreciate your input, and help. You'll see another thread I just started, with another dyno session today, in the general section. Lots of dyno sessions happening. Makin me want to dyno mine again lol . I also changed my pushrods to .135 wall, and corrected the length, as they were a bit short, when doing the rmbuilder method of geometry.

Congrats guys! That's great!

Bob - look for another familiar dyno thread next month..... (nothing like these results, but I too have reliability as the #1 goal)

Thumbs up

Thanx everyone, this has been a great, encouraging, civil thread!
I worked with what I had and tried to put together the best bang for the buck, most reliable package. At the end of the day whatever that made is fine by me as long as I can just go boating.

Sure some chillers, new carbs , aluminum heads etc..would have been nice but just not in the cards.
