I knew there was a reason Joe was all into my carbs
I almost want a bit of surge sometimes but then the smooth idle is nice too.

Ive used Leak Lock forever on leaking Shrader valves and such, if it helps prevent 250psi from leaking out its good for engine stuff too. I hit all pipe thread on the engine with it now.

Frick hows your project coming?

Mike Tkachs were. Icdedppl has 850 holleys that Nickerson modified. Mike's quick fuel 1050-B2 carbs were real close out of the box. Great carbs.

Default Few other things

For pushrods Trend Performance out of Michigan (http://trendperform.com ) makes em same day and in .025 increments. I ordered 64 and had em the next day.

The oil pan bolts didn`t have enough "head" to grab the pan (oil leaks) so this stud kit is a nice upgrade and you can`t beat the price

Negro Baja: I have Holley carbs modified by Nickerson

Very nice build. If you dont mind me asking, what are you running for the fuel delivery system? As in pumps, size lines (from tank to pump) and pump to carbs, fuel filters etc??????

Nice build. Nothing like hearing them purr like that. Enjoy. I heard some blown carbed engines a lot like your build that Kevin Hadley built run. It is a beautiful thing to see an engine like that have the manners of EFI. I always had associated carbs and blowers with nothing but ill mannered raw HP. It can be as good as EFI with the right valve train and carbing.

efi is a wonderful thing but todays high end carbs like the quik fuel offerings are so tuneable that they can almost mimic efi if you work with them.some people think it is imposible to make carbs work on a blown engine but that thinking is wrong.i thought about efi for my engines but 1500.00 for a good set of carbs vs 7000.00 for a good quality efi made my decision,i put the extra money in better heads, rods and superchargers.
