Ragged:

Just reaching for insults now aren't you? Running out of ammo? Continue to take things out of context, and add your twist to them. That’s how you roll. Piss everyone off so you can enjoy your time boating ALONE. That’s what you like to do anyways…Well like Burger King. Have it Your Way. Can't find anything relevant to bring up about this last summer, so dip into the past...Sounds WAY to familiar.

Attack and insult the Race boat and Team. Go ahead, drink another bourbon and stay up late tonight thinking about how you'll do it. You've never raced...Like I said, your opinion is worthless. I'm sure you are better then anyone out there. But you don’t have the balls to do it. (I’m sure you will tell us all that you do, but don’t desire to) But you WILL have a negative opinion about us. Save it. As for Doug, he makes the decisions on the Team. It was our First year, it’s called a learning curve. He respects my opinion. Yes, I may have done some things differently, not my call.

Continue to alienate yourself from the few that will even socialize with you and it's going to be a lonely summer in 2009. Tell Samantha that she is still welcome. You, on the other hand, have once again…taken it too far.

Check!

RaggedEdge 11-08-2008 11:29 AM

Well Dave here's a view from this end of the stick.

Seems to be fine for you to stir things up, and when the chit comes back and I give it a stir then I'm a a$$hole. You constantly downgrade my choice in boats, as do some others here, and the only real reason I can come up with is cause it's not the same as yours. Excuse me cause it's a POS, built by a short guy having a bad hair day, short must have carried into his design cause the beak shortens all the Fountains into little boats not fit for men of real stature. Maybe that's why I like the fit, being a small pile of chit just like him. They all leave the factory full of build chit and that is likely the only reason they weigh close to comparable models from other builders. They are built, rigged, even painted by retarded southern folks to a standard far below the industry. Maybe that's another reason I like them, we retards all have the same inflated view of the product. Fountains all ride like chit, handle like chit, look like chit, don't hold up for chit, and are owned by "Worthless" people that are just plain chit. In stark contrast to your brand. I apologize, I just can't help the fact that I fell victim to all that misleading Fountain advertising. It's happened to me twice in a row now, and I'm in fear of the fact it may someday happen again. Should I seek professional help before it's too late?

Then there's what you term "my" selective memory. Why would I be expected to remember the one time all summer, don't have the capacity beyond that, the one time that you might have (memory deal here) out run me? I must have a contagious form of selective memory cause it appears to have migrated across the boathouse. What about the rest of the summer Dave? As you worked thru boxes, shorties, spacers, props after props, even one set of mine, trying to find the best set up. Don't remember (memory thing again) myself sitting there busting your balls constantly. How many times did I honestly sit and bs with you about stuff? How many times did Samantha shoot video and pics so you could see how the boat was running? How many times did you ask stupid me how the attitude looked? Did I ever once not sit and tell you what I saw, and how it looked? Did I ever once not sit there and honestly, as a friend should, try to down play what I saw as your being somewhat discouraged in not being to reach your goal. Believe me here this is not an insult, I understand all too well that feeling. My overrated fix all lab job fell on it's face. Everything I was told, promised and led to believe went off the map in the wrong direction. Not that 3K is the end of the world, but it was very discouraging for me as well. You may have hit you're set up, good for you! And sorry I'm an a$$hole and said where's the pic, really, it's like you have never snowed me before about anything. All in good fun, of course. And when it does surface, after you send it all over and get the gang in on the newest little deal, then I'm an a$$hole cause I think you might have photoshopped the thing, now why would I ever think you would do that. Being the all in fun ball buster that you are. Pete is a little bummed over his prop deal so lets see if we can rub his nose in it a little, all in good fun, of course!

You brag up your deal and every one is supposed to understand that you are entitled. You put in a lot of effort and money, and did do everything all by yourself. We all take pride in what we have, and in what we do. I guess "we" is the wrong word here, cause when I do the same thing I just turn into that Bite Me "Worthless" Fountain Boy. Right Dave?

Sorry for being so long winded.

Yours, Just old "Worthless" Fountain Boy LOL LOL LOL

It never gets personal, and if you were reading...it's only about the constant asswhooping of both your Fountains by me.

Never have...Always praised you and your boats. Go back and show me. You on the other hand...telling my friends in the boathouse, that after you go for a ride in his (My boat) Formula, come back and I'll take you for a ride in a real boat. You think that won't get back to me? You are a delusional fool. I'm just giving you more opportunity to talk behind my back there 'ol good buddy of mine. I ignored most of it, but still it ALL comes back to me. Hypocrite.

Your view on Fountain is the perfect stereotype, and no you can't seek help, it's too late!

You want to get into that exchange? How many have I given you? For real? WOW!!!

You waxed your boat and changed the props...A little different than re-rigging an entire boat with my own set-up. Not going to compare that though. Again you "twist words" and put them back into play. Your opinion about racing is worthless to me. That's what I said. Get help with the low self esteem issues.

Just can't get no respect, maybe it should have been in a different place. But then there might be more rouge dissenters  someplace else. Probably a safety in numbers thing.

I've been wondering why that hat hasn't been right since that weekend. Poor thing isn't used to that big a head.

As always, Fountain Boy (little guy in a little boat)

PS Thanks for the call and the tip, I do appreciate your concern. Just cross your fingers, it's a crap shoot anyway.

Not much checkin to do, its listed in the book that came with the boat paint codes and all. So back to the question at hand, would you try matching the color with a different brand? Boats currently setting at Orion marine and I have someone coming over on monday to give me an estimate.

Might be worth a call to Velocity with your boat info to double check. They have switched paint a couple times over the years, I thought they we still on the PPG wagon. I honestly would be supprised that fuel would hurt Imron. It is a product aimed at real harsh service. Sometimes the book might not be correct.

In any case, you should be able to color match it in any brand. As far as one over the other, I would check with the people you chose to do the work, as well as those who make the paint you decide to use. It's done every day in body shops. Car manufacturer uses brand X, shop is set up with brand Ys system. They make the repair, all is good. Most paint systems now even have alternative formulas that allow for a shade difference one way or another. If the shop questions the match they most often will do a spray out test to verify it. Your paint is for sure cured, so there shouldn't be any issues there in my mind.

Lookin thru the posts I think I'm going to have to call Mark. Looks like we need some renovations for the boathouse. Somthing like lines painted down the center of the dock to keep Ragged and Axa seperated. I can see it now midnight outings moving the line east or west:drink: for the other to find in the a.m.

Some things never change, Before I bought my boat and stayed out on the long dock in that old 22 searay, I swear I was awaken more than once by the two of you having at it just like today.

I thought you guys were turnin the forum over to the sleders to have at it? You know take a break. Naw never mind this is more interesting at the moment:ernaehrung004:

I have thought of asking for shackles to keep some of them from wandering over and fu@ckin with my boat and chit in the middle of the night while I try to get my rest to be ready for the next days session of abuse.

It's possible that this guy may be guilty of trespassing and Fountain tampering.

Remember he is in disguise in the photo believed to be taken by a high speed butt cam while comitting the crime. Please notify the Americas Most Wanted Flockers hot line. He could be a foreigner and possibly an illegal alien. He is considered to be unarmed and harmless.

I do not know when this round became about you. I thought we had been thru this before and finally ended it. Having been friends for years, the good and not so good. I did, and still do, appreciate the support when Christopher died. I just don't find anything in common between us anymore. Some of the dealings in the past have admittedly left a very sour taste. At times that comes back up and I do find myself resenting the way I was treated and the direction that things went. Maybe, in hindsight, it is worse because I was warned, failed to heed the advice and maybe that eats at me. But that is my mistake, and my problem, not yours. Weather you agree with my take on things, or not, for me at this stage is irrelevant. Your deal is your deal, play it as you see it. I don't have to buy into it and choose not to anymore.

I don't know what would be served by your face to face airing out, done is done, but if that's what it takes to end this I will.

The saying goes...Chit on me once, shame on you. Chit on me twice, shame on me.
I'm just going to follow that advice.

RaggedEdge, don't dig a foxhole. Foxholes only slow up an offensive. Keep moving. And don't give the enemy time to dig one either. You can win this war, but you will win it only by fighting and by showing these guy's that you got more guts than they have; or ever will have. Your not going to just fight the sons-of-*****es, you are going to rip out their living guts and use them to grease the drives on your Fountain. Some threads are bloody, You've got to spill their blood first, or they will spill yours. Rip them up the belly. When boats are flying all around you and you wipe the salt off your face and realize that instead of salt it's the blood and guts of what once was your best friend beside you, you'll know what to do!

As for the other three of you, I've been reading along, chuckling a bit, surprised a bit, shocked a bit, and pretty much just disgusted alot. This crap has gone the way of the previous TIBBC thread. It is a bit embarrassing - why do you guys air this junk out like this? This sours everything and I think you should all just stop - now.

I'm not invloved in this petty mess and I don't want to be. My comments are only an attempt to get you guys to rethink what you're doing to yourselves on a public forum. None of you look "clean" to the causual reader - you all look like whiners!!

Vector Velocity,

You are out of control ......... you need to turn the TV off and get some sleep.

As for the rest of this bullsheet between Ragged vs Axa vs Rip in what ever order you want to put it. You guys need to big sip of shut the fuk up and relax.
I like all you guys, but once again this has gone way to far and all you are doing is making yourselves look like idiots.
The past is the past the future is the future. If you can't say something nice don't say it all. I feel like I am talking to my twins sometimes.
Seriously take a look at yourselves and think before you speak. As it is a lot of chit has been aired out here that didn't need to be. Before someone else makes another comment think about the future of your relationships. You guys are grown men, not 3 kids running there mouths off like most internet formums.
Again if you would like a mediator I would more than happy to facilitate it for you.
The "Boathouse" is going to pretty lonely next summer if this chit continues.
Like Bird said in an earlier post ..... stop the bantering and help each other .... give the "other" guy an "at boy gesture" and encourage them with all your knowledges. As opposed to slamming each other.
Don't get me wrong some god old fashion ball busting is always good for the soul ..... hence the reason this thread was originally posted.
I haven't known you guys as long as you have known each other and it probably wasn't my place to say anything. But I am sure I speaking on the behalf of many others that are thinking what I am.

Sincerely,

Jeff

OK Jeff I turned off the TV and got a nap:
The focus should be on "mending", not on pouring more salt into old wounds.

Embrace the opportunity to grow and you may find a better friendship than you had before.

I'm going to be the first to say I'm sorry to get this started in the right direction. Damn that was so hard but I feel so much better now.

Not for nothing but I am not quite sure what you are implying here. But I think you either need to go back read ALL the posts or stay out of this.
I not sure if you know what you are talking about with regards to me and this thread. I am totally neutral with regards these guys opinions and comments.
All I was pointing out was that "they" needed to calm this down.
And as far as you saying .....

What the fuk are you talking about ? Did you read your post you wrote to Ragged ?
You have got issues dude.
You want me to focus on "mending" and "embracing the opportunity to grow."

They can be ..... the Apex is a 4 cylinder 4 stroke with 150hp and Vector is a 3 cylinder 4 stroke with 120 hp.

Apex is the faster of the 2 ..... they both will get to 100 mph quickly .... just that the Apex will continue climbing with extra ponies under it.
Fastest I had it was 118 mph on a lake .... that is what the speedo showed ..... what that equates to in real (GPS) speed ... I haven't got a clue. I am sure I was only doing approx 108 -110 mph maybe ....

Twins eh? You need to be careful just how many sets of twins / ( . ) ( . ) you've got going at once. Too many twins, not good.

Well you call me when you get it running a little better.

I wish I had a GPS on the Sled ..... I could keep track of where I have been .... and the speed of coarse.

You just never know if you have the right set of twins with you at all times :D

That video is sick ..... I could imagine going that fast on something only approx. 9 feet long and a 2 feet off the ground.

Jeff, I've looked iinto the GPS for mine a few times. They are very limited for our application. Are you or any of the others members of HCS?

Does HCS mean Hot Chit Sledheads?

Why not get a handheld? I know some guys that use them for hunting. Comforting thought there, guy in the woods with a loaded gun not even smart enough to even get back out. But why wouldn't it work on a sled?

P.S. Tell your wife that the Velocity chit has to wait till next week. I used all my allowance money for this week to buy Whipple kits for the Biotch and don't have anything left for the UPS charges. But next week is looking good! :D

Can't wait to spank that overweight, over-valved, six foot long exhaust piped Yimiha of Jeff's.:evilb:

Actually, I have no idea if I can beat that Yami. But, you can bet we'll be finding out soon.
