I was talking to VinnyP about coming up for a run through NYC sometime. I'd love to to the whole tourist thing and see the sites from the water.

Well I haven't opened it up yet. Just took it easy all weekend. I had the 30 labbed Bravo on and varied my rpm's all weekend. But mostly my cruise speeds were low 40's at 3000rpm and low 50's at 3500rpm. I ran it up to about 4800rpm for a very short blast and saw 78....she had more and was climbing. I'd say at 5300rpm I should be in the low-mid 80's.

wow your out already must be nice I sat at home all weekend guess the same for the 4th I feel, but hey john that back seat doesn't seem right was the back rest up a few inches so the seat slid under a little, I have a queston on the fuel line and hatch piston I found to wires Ithought would plug in one does but the other is female to female it looks also thinking about using aftermarket hd stock motor mounts cause theres that glassed in wedge that might hit a gil or off shore mount. the konrad looks ace on there I am looking at ernies sutphen tomorrow measure height of blower so I can order a scoop or make a old school hatch like on the 41. I can't believe its been 8 mons and still no motor at that time it was already sitting at his shop for 14mons well 2yrs in aug 28th. Iwould of picked it up then if I new I was getting screwed with no lube. I am going to get the reg done this week incase theres a bug but I am not worried. with the 509 650 hp raised drive 78 would be tops I think with a 1000hp96 to 100 and 1050 to 1175 I think 100 to 110 if that drive height is good for 6mph like we think. winter time Iwill sell the seats or have ppi make them wider on the sides and higher with the in out look, if they weren't power Iwould put my custom ones from the baja in.

hey if you come up north we should meet only if I have the boat in the water though, that way you can try it, if it runs great then forgoten but if its bad its going right up to maine and being made into a hyd roller and will still make 1000hp. I THINK we raised the x up 3'' getting steering lines extended and will use the trim out of the baja, do you now if they make extensions to put on the red trim cable outside the boat or do you think Ishould just buy new cable. get back to me on the saber thread so I am not filling this thread up with saber stuff hahha but we should hook up for the pokerruns here we got july maine, aug RI fallriver mass one then the big one in sept in fairhaven with the NY owner of the marina later thanks your a good guy.Igot to go wipe my eyes later

Motor ran good yesterday. Primed and fired up at Rudy's shop, sounded real strong. he did some fiddling with the carb and off I went. the girl and I put in at the goose and ran down to Lloyds. I can now cruise at 3500rpm at about 55mph and keep the oil temps at a nice and stable 220ºF. Pulled hard up to 5500rpm, and was climbing past 90mph with ease when i got out of it. Should pull to at least 6000rpm with this prop, so maybe 100mph even. Not to mention that there is still a bit more timing that can be put in to it, plus Rudy needs to come for a ride and get the jetting and carb set up right. Would barely idle in gear. I am very pleased though.

Cool man. Glad you were able to get out. That's a nice cruise with even oil temps. Let me know when your back in town so we can run.
