The crank sensor is the only thing that came up when we googled it we tried 2 different ones and still the same and the crank trigger wheel is not rusted it runs ok till the temp goes up ,the water...

I have a 525 merc engine that has starting missing at 4800 to 500 rpm the scan tool shows a code for ( vr sensor std) any ideas ??? I have'nt seen this before

sorry ive never used the Torrington in a gen 5 or 6 so im not sure if .000 is enough end play i would think .002 or .003. I allways hse the stock thrust plate and have no problems good luck...

holley makes a marine elec fuel pump, you can plum after the fuel/water seperator as a lift pump. 6 lbs pressure hope this helps.

a good length to start with is 8.250 int and 9.250 exh for a short deck . i use the gm part #12371053 timing set ( single roller ) it commes with the thrust plate and bolts.hope this helps.

i have taken lots of 525's apart and they did come je-700 pistons and some came with manley .the je's will have je700 cast under the dome the manleys have no marks on them, the domes are the same on...

I hate to bring this up but if the thermostat housing is that bad I would remove the intake and inspect the water ports they may be just as bad if so water can get into the oil, just saying....

the hole goes through the head bolt hole when porting , but if its from corrosion i would be afraid of where the next hole...
