If you can't get the drive on or off with LITTLE effort the engine is not aligned properly.
The tool needs to slide in and out with two fingers.
You should never have to force the drive on.

I would think you could send a drone down and hook up an air bag or cable to the radar arch and at least get it closer to the surface.
My arch on my SCARAB 34 was anchored down pretty well.
