just replaced my Garmin 172c in my 2007 382 Fastec with a Garmin echoMAP 50s. The 50s is the closest in size to the 172c. it is still bigger and not easy to install. barley enough room...

XZ gears have a thicker floor than the std. B1 gears. Have had good success with a heavy boat. A 382 formula with 600ft lbs torque each. Not a direct replacement they require drive machining to fit ....

It could not be easier. There is one 1/4 - 20 bolt that holds the TV in the center from behind.
Reached it thru the DC breaker panel.
Now I can install the new one.

no lexan covering the TV, flush mounted to the cabinet face.

Hoping to remove without cabinet disassembly.

the drain hoses are very acessable, but I can barley touch the dip sticks with my finger tips.

on my 97 382, you can reach up under the top step (there are tabs to pull) and the carpet will pull back (not glued) to reveal 2 srews holding on the cover to access the motors
