I live in the woodlands and have been looking for another boat since mine burned up in a storage fire. - sucks. I know this boat is located around Conroe and wonder if you can give me some background about the boat and the owner. Kind of makes me wonder why some one would go through with a deal after they knew the engines were going to need major work. I think I would kick the guy in the nuts after he told me about the engines after I had gotten to OK. Suck about the job. I check his eBay ratting and it’s a 96% which is not bad but still makes you wonder what his deal is. Is he an honest guy? Boat seems to be in good condition, but pictures can be misleading.

From looking at the forum (almost 13k) all seem to have some kind a knowledge or just a lot of bull****ting going on. Which every, if yall could help me out before I make a bid, it would help greatly. Any other info would be greatly appreciated. I would also like to hear what you think on value… If it were you how much would you pay?

boatman22 10-27-2007 05:56 AM

That's jeff1000man's boat he just bought it. You can trust him with what he says.

Just watch out he takes it in the can:ernaehrung004:

If jeff had not lost his job, the boat would not be for sale. I would make the 15 minute drive to Conroe and look at it. It appears to be a clean boat. It also appears to have spent its whole life in fresh water.

You can come look at it this weekend if you want. I will PM you with the phone number.
I will be around sunday evening or anytime during the week. Can't PM you. Guess you have to email me through ebay. Boat is generating a ton of interest, so it looks like I am probably going to go through with the sale. I answered 15 emails last night and 2 this morning so far.

Maybe. I think you should leave it black and paint more of the accesories to match the valve covers though.

Surveyors aren't mechanics, azz. Boat is fine actually.

Build a motor that makes over 400hp or get a boat that goes over 63 and then we will talk.

How about you build a motor that makes it 4 hours ! And as it sits 63 is still 63 mph faster than you! :cool-smiley-027:

I'd rather be wrenchin on a 70mph boat than lying about owning one.

Faster at emptying beer cans and attracting spiders. We have logged more hours on the Crap Shoot lately than the Islander

jeff1000man 10-27-2007 11:07 AM

Wade, quit working on your rat rod and get this one.

At least it was away from the marina.

If I decide to keep my bucket, I want to switch to the 10 quart pans as well. The dipstick is alot more easier to get to. I was checkin out boatmans the other day....nice set up..
\

FYI:
TxLefty the dipstick is what you use to check the level of oil in your "motor"

A "motor" as you like to call it are those black rusty things under your hatch that make noise.

The hatch is the thing on the back of your boat with the scoops

Scoops are generaly used to provide more air flow to supercharged engines.

You do not have supercharged engines, using your words you have a motor

You can find motors in go-carts, lawnmowers, blenders...ect...ect...

Another side note. when returning from running in salt water you need to flush your motors with fresh water with thin about 24 hours, not 24 days, not 24 weeks, nor 24 months...ect...ect...:cool-smiley-027::cool-smiley-027:

I may have found a new mechanic for you shade tree azz clowns that like to work on your boats. He is a plane mechanic at Hooks and would like to get into marine big power stuff. I will get more information tonight. Should it work out Lefty will need to pay upfront:D:party-smiley-048:
