Oh, I saw that on the news last night. I think she spent like 30K on the scrapped airliner. I had no idea they were that cheap for an entire plane. I may be living in a DC-10 next week.:lolhit:

Just got an email from a guy that is working oil spill claims in an office in Hammond, LA. Pays $450 a day plus $100 for the hoel room. 12 hours a day 7 days a week in the office, but he said it is easy if anyone needs a YOB. It wont last loong, but it is something right now. I ain't going, but I can forward the info/ :coolcowboy:

my sales guy just quit and that is exactly where he went. Talked to him today. He is on the phone from 8:00-6:00 everyday with very little time to get his ppaperwork done in between calls. Crappy work but $450/day to sit on your arse on the phone ain't bad.

These guys I am talking to don't have to do any paperwork, they are just manning a call center from 8-8 every day.

THey have the better of the jobs. The key when you are working day rate is to have as little responsibility as possible since it all pays the same. :coolcowboy:

Guy in PA, said that he needed BP to pay for him to see a shrink because the thought of the oil in the gulf was botherng him.

Lady in LA said that she used to fish off the dock behind her house and that she sold the fish for $1000 a week, wants BP to give her $1000 a week.

That staffing firm is generating over 600K each and every day that this is going on. They say some of those centers will be there for over a year.


219 mil in gross revenue generated for each 1000 people on a years timetable.

Projected to be a 3 month to 2 year gig.

We should all sign up and we can all crash one of MBA's camps on the river.

5 of us all in that office would be insanity. Definately would be some scotch drinking going on at lunch.
