Same kind, yes. I believe Richard had a red one. I didn't know Wayland had one.I was on one for a Freeport poker run once. They actually ride really nice and are pretty roomy. We ran aground at about 70, couldn't see the channel because of the rain. That was when having a windshield wasn't a good idea...ouch.

More like this.....

It used to live in Seabrook. In fact, I believe all of those pictures were taken on Clear Lake. Sweet old school rocket ship.

This one is actually no B.S. Those blowers would barely fit in my truck. The Notech would hit ludacris speed with those things on there. There would be nothing left of the drives.

jeff1000man 10-12-2010 10:35 PM

Flatdeck Scarab-Nope
what ever that other boat was -nope

:party-smiley-004::party-smiley-004:

Scary Mary - finished and still running 3 yers later
scarab flat deck - sold for a profit finishing not needed
Excalibur - finished and actualy for sale right now as a running boat
27 BAJA - finished and constantly shredding drives and couplers (must have ben some power there??
The Magnum is actually the only one that I didn't finish, but that is not totally true since YOU have actually ridden in that boat.:lolhit: Oh wait, most of you rode in Scary Mary, so that one counts twice.
Oh and don't forget the Cafe Racer from lear lake that was a hell of a battle, but that one eventually got finished as well.

Keep up the hating and I won't be picking you up for a shake down ride next Sunday...........:party-smiley-004:

Waiting on oil coolers to get here. Ignitions will be here tomorrow. Picked up the second engine this morning from Owens. First engine is ready to stick after I finish building a wiring harness for it tomorrow. Second one I am waiting on some random part like fuels pump, and coupler and water pump etc.

Does anyone have an extra drive coupler?? I need one of those too....

The 6pm - 10PM building schedule is working out OK actually.

None of us would have to work nearly as much if we would just get rid of these fu(king boats......

jeff1000man 10-13-2010 12:16 AM

Oh and I finished the Taylor, and that jet boat.

Just because Smooth finished 1 poker run in 8 years on all 3 engines, doesn't mean you are above the rest of us on the project boat ladder.:party-smiley-004::bigbird::bigbird:
