I think we should do most of these mods and turn the fuel control up and see if we can get the
big tub to go faster.
Sound like a plan?

YEP....Great thread...... Just finished the lawnmower oil change and now I'M going to tackle the spark plug change.

Keep motivating with the pics!!!

does it go faster?

here are the two devices Jim has that check the fuel rails
one measures pattern and one measures flow.

Both halves of the compressor looks much better than I thought they would. Any corrosion of the fins that isn't seen on in these pics?

The planetary gears look decent too. Any corrosion on them?

Yes they do look good. The gears look good too.
The gas producer is next. Hopefully it scores even with the rest.

We should have pullers this week.
For those that may not know.
Because the t53 is a free Turbine meaning it has no mechanical connection between the N1 and N2
it allows the installation of a break and caliper which allows a quick shift for a SCS crashbox.
This setup is available from SCS.
years back i made a video showing just this. Did not score big in the YouTube comment section
i thought it was relative to this thread.

Hi, your old turbine run up videos R very very Kool 2. why not post em'as well? Reduction gears R perfect. No Issues. NOW if pullers get to the operation site, we can see additional power installed.ps: Scott how U? spray patterns R key. NITE Gbear

Video in post #166 is before the new drive shaft installation with U joints. U R looking @ CV joints which failed. 3-4 years ago. G can spec. U-joint size for the record, it's good. Also the brake system for N2 is now improved. any pic, G? Weston & Evan

Wow....all this and time to tear down a 4.7 liter jeep engine to change out the timing chain tensioners too....l hear that's a complicated job by itself. ..l have no real hands on knowledge of turbines so l find this thread great. ..more pics please. ..keep up the great work
