Your memory is right on,I don't know the history but "BLUE MAX" was at black river marina on a hoist durring the late 80's can't remember owner but could find out(port huron guy). another beautiful magnum,merc 280;s. you guys are great,just love to see all the old history,thanks,bob

hey bob hope all is well, did we not meet at lake side beach a few times. this summer

I meet a guy that has a 74 maltese that he has had for years and is working on.. also had a four winds liberator that he used this summer and has a few small air planes are you the same guy????

I might have found it, this old LSC program talks about a this blue Maltese that raced in the 70's. This may have become the Blue Max with a merc trs update ? These are the only blue Maltese Magnums on LSC I can remember.

Thanks Mark for the info...also the person who I purchased the 29-9 from claims to have a lot of old 70 & 80's Power Boat magazines that he plans on sending to me.Could be a bonanza if I ever receive them. Bud

I know it's been slow here so here is a pic of Smidgen after the crash, new deck , scopes, eng hatch , drive showers & OT pipes made by Pete Smith's Wolverine casting foundry. Back in the day you could not just go out and buy this stuff, these guy's made idea's come to life.

The weather hear on the canadian side (Sarnia/London Ont. sucks, we just got another dumping of snow yesterday..
Im so tired of the snow

There's a Mag sport for sale in the classifields
Looks to be in Harrison Mich, were i bought my boat

Anyone know anything about it or seen it.

Needs to be redone, cheap Asking $7,500???????????
