I have never come across B3s that turn different directions on the inner prop.
That would mean that there would be two types of props available for each pitch, witch there isn't.

The B3s does indeed spin for counter rotation...

The B3s does indeed spin for counter rotation (one prop clockwise, one counter clockwise.)
Even a singe engine boat with contra rotating props will track straight, no prop steering at all.

Don't know what would be different on your boat, but mine does a 180 or 360 almost at the spot.
One in reverse and one forward, no steering input at all.
Formula 330ss B3, 7.4.

I’m looking at 382 Fastecs from the late 1990s- to early 2000s.
One has carbed 500s, another 500 EFIs and one has 575 SC.

Details on the above engines would be much appreciated.

Anyone has experience with the Volvo DPH drive?

They are delivered with the 990 nm 400 hp diesel.
To me it looks like they have the ability to stand up to approx. 800 Hp in a gas application....

Might be worth checking on the older Holden models for a AIC valve.
I know they used the Chevy 5,7 engine in some models, the Commodore I believe.
