I have a `87 S-24 Sorrento. Originally 260/Alpha=45mph, then 350H.O crate engine with modifications and BravoX=57mph. Now a 383, hoping to see 62-65mph...

500 horsepower recipe for 454 mag (carb)?

I`ve seen Canfields at 2250$, I think it`s best bang for a $....
For a cam choice, I believe there are two individuals, that could get you right cam for your needs, if looking for something else...

I have to say that it might work...swapped 750 SeaDemon to 850 Demon on friends boat 454, lost nothing in lower end, and after 4000rpm it really started to fly. No difference in top speed, however......

I believe that injectors are only 22lbs/hr? So they need to be changed, at least. There is some useful information of the fuel injection guidelines in the following link.

Buy crane #10309-1 spring & retainer kit. It fits without modifications, I believe stock push rods work, though I would
use crane 10621-16. No need to change rocker arms, or studs, my machinist had...

Change it to Crane 104224, it would really make a difference,
with Vortec Air-Gap intake, do not use the performer, you will get much more with the Air-Gap. There is dyno sheet in OSO

70 jet´s pri/ 80 sec. Here are dyno results, note that tq is in NM`s!
correction factor is 1.025. Test was run on Stuska Dyno. Hp stayed flat
from 5200-5500 = 385hp.
