Matt is absolutely correct. The Gentry Turbo Eagle was the 1988 Superboat World Champion with triple Gentry Turbo engines and Sterndrives by Kiekhaefer. The 110 footer came later.

A successful hull with any fully surfacing drive will need natural rocker in the bottom. Otherwise, the thrust line is too high. That makes the boat roll up toward its nose and bow steer....

I use a back-up lanyard threaded to a grab handle from the camera. But I've never tested it, as I've never had the suction let go. On an open wheel track car, I duct taped it over the suction mount....

Just be sure the painter doesn't make an obvious (but too common) mistake of painting the sacrificial anodes on the drives and trim tabs. They are there to be corroded away instead of the drives.
