Is that a carb vent? The first engine I blew that thing was sitting on top of the piston in cylinder #1. You should try harder next time and maybe you can make it down into the short block.:p That sucks dude, sorry to see it.:(

That is a valve stem, for those of you who have never seen one outside of the head. Not sure how they make it into the intake yet. Office called so I had to come back inside for a minute.

I will take the head off in a minute and see how bad it really is.

Had problems getting intake off because #2 intake valve was lodged inside intake runnuer and locked them together.

I'm going in now.

jeff did you use inconel valves or just severe duty or did you use regular valves ( hopefully not the later)

you should have seen the block:mad: the piston was gone and i had to sleve the block. the piston was in a 1k pieces. The head is still sitting on the floor in my shop:(
