something for Lefty, Mush Mouth, and SPK1 since they are always hungry

Summer's on the way and so are more chilly blended drinks to help you beat the heat. But what's often on the other end of that straw can be scary (unless you have a THIRST for calories!). Here's HG's latest list of drinkable disasters...

Krispy Kreme - Mocha Dream Chiller
(12 oz: 670 calories, 28g fat, 320mg sodium, 105g carbs, 1g fiber, 58g sugars, 3g protein)

Krispy Kreme's spin on a creamy, frozen, chocolate java drink is kompletely krazy! Packed with fat and calories, this 12-oz. sip is teeny compared to the others on our list! Order their other size, a 20-ouncer, and you'll be sucking down 1,050 calories and 41 fat grams. Blech! Come on, Krispy Kreme, what did that little coffee bean ever do to deserve this?!?

Dairy Queen - Peanut Butter Malt
(15 oz: 870 calories, 46g fat, 630mg sodium, 94g carbs, 3g fiber, 70g sugars, 21g protein)

If you think drinking a PB beverage is any safer than inhaling a whole bunch of peanut butter cups, you're just plain nuts! This creamy malt is setting record highs this summer -- a whopping 870 calories for the smallest size available! Upgrade to the medium and you're lookin' at 1,230 calories. (Pssst... HG's got a version with fewer than 150 calories!)

Starbucks - Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino Blended Crème with Whipped Cream
(16 oz: 580 calories, 22g fat, 370mg sodium, 86g carbs, 3g fiber, 65g sugars, 14g protein)

Talk about a coffee shop flop! This silly chilly frap packs 580 calories -- for some chocolate-chip flavored liquid?!? If we're gonna spend close to 600 calories fulfilling a chocolate chip craving, we can think of far more fun ways to do it than this! But our friends at the 'Bucks do offer some awesome guilt-free options for sweet summer sips. This just isn't one of them...

Fatburger - Chocolate Ice Cream Shake
(16 oz: 880 calories, 38g fat, 370mg sodium, 120g carbs, 4g fiber, 75g sugars, 14g protein)

Okay, it's pretty much a given that you're not gonna get a skinny shake from a place named Fatburger. But nearly 900 calories for a chocolate shake is just excessive! You could down TEN creamy chocolate Fudgsicles for fewer calories than that (although we don't recommend that either, so don't get any ideas).

Dunkin' Donuts - Vanilla Bean Coolatta
(16 oz: 440 calories, 17g fat, 95mg sodium, 70g carbs, 1g fiber, 69g sugars, 1g protein)

This seemingly innocent option thought it would slip by unnoticed, but the HG radar snagged it! Who knew a vanilla bean could stir up so much trouble? Seventeen fat grams and more than 400 calories for a cold coffee drink is NOT the way to go. What gives, Double D? Serving up a beverage with nearly two-and-a-half times the calories and fat found in one of your glazed donuts takes a 'latta nerve! If you find yourself at Dunkin', go for one of their flavored coffees over ice with some no-cal sweetener and a splash of milk (skim, soy, or even regular -- you'll still save LOTS of calories!).

Club 105 sounds simple....I would hate to get popped by the Water police the first night of a great weekend.

There are some condo's where I live that are time shares there. They can park there boats there if they need too. Andy's is right about Mike Maher running those, he works for our company and I can probably get you a deal....let me know. They'd probably need 3 or 4 of them.

I really really like this one!

tomtbone1993 05-22-2007 02:33 PM

Boat Names and their Definitions....

Scary Mary
a female student of BCA who believes that all guys are conceited, egotistical, sex-obsessed spawns of satan that deserve nothing more than castration, followed by a long and painful death.

Smooth Operator
Someone who can handle multiple situations in a fashion that can only be described as "Awesome, spectucular, and, above all else, awesometacular".

Usually a smooth operator is someone who tends to be "on top of things", and in is usually in control of any given situation.
If he/she isn't in control of a situation, they usually find a way to gain control of it to make it more awesome for everyone involved.

Smooth Operators are rarely in trouble, and, when they are, they can usually get out of these situations quickly, elegantly and with a zero percent chance of casualties.

Islander
Prince Edward Islander. No one refers to them as 'islanders' except themselves. Anne of Green Gables has become a modern deity to these humble folk, all of whom either work in the tourism industry or grow potatos.

Islanders speak fairly normal english, with a few peculiar twists. Words like 'bagel' and 'dad' are consistently pronounced improperly. They also have no concept of a 'backpack' or 'knapsack', instead prefering to use queer little articles they lovingly refer to as 'kitbags'.

To be fair, all islanders who venture forth from the Island are good people and make great companions. Though a strange breed, they bring enrichment to the historically incestuous regions of Eastern Canada.

Crap Shoot
Something that is random, not based on skill. People think this refers to an ******* (where your crap shoots out), but it's actually a reference to the dice-rolling game called Craps.
Trouble Maker

A nickname: a name the identifys a trouble maker
Wet Dreams
1.When you are in your teenage years and are going through puberty your penis experiments and while you are sleeping will get sexually excited and start to release semen.

2.Are often perceived by retarts as the term to having wet their pants.. while they sleep....

Nina Ross
a 9mm handgun
"so i hit tha door, grab tha glock and tha chrome, nina ross, on yo block in yo ****in face, hits this all off"

-Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia

Dirty Connection
a dirty, grimy strip bar/"gentlemen's club" on the Burlington/Aldershot (Ontario) outskirts. It has ****ty looking motel rooms connected to the main complex which in my opinion, eliminates the possibility that the "dancers" are not in fact also hookers.

Aristocat
A respectable African-American gentleman

Smoke This
a snail that smokes

Committed
Soon to be a big hit on NBC. Sitcom about a bunch of Friends in New York.

Hmmm... sound familiar?

Committed was released in January and it soon was cancelled
