Who will work on Ilmors? Like any other HP auto engine, they will require rebuilding. If like BBC chevys, need refresh after 150-350 hrs. Merc 1075's require tear down and refresh after about 60 hrs....

Wow, they picked up 6 mph over the orange M29 tested at Lake Havasu only a couple of months ago. I wonder what they did? Normally would take at least 500lbs lighter or another 50hp out of the verados.

i use an impact tool to remove the prop, but not to torque it on install. i am not confident of the unkown torque of the imapct tool. so i end up using the wood method or holding the prop by hand.
