take the pump off and get the whole kit it comes with gaskets and wear plates.make sure you use wd40 on the impellerits a lot easier to install.the job should take you about ten-fifteen...

i had the same problem.with the tips. go to eddiemarine.com they carry a replaceable flapper.its used in there tips.you will have to take out the tips and drill two holes for the rod to go thru.the...

also note! if its the flapper on the y pipe it takes four. they did away with the steel rod that holds the flap and now use a molded plastic press in.the old part#14348A1 they will give you the #.
