It's possible and easy fix,change ram seals and make sure the lines are clear.I doubt its pump and steer valves are pretty bullit proof usually just leak externally.

I would make sure rams are not bypassing,do they hold psi ? Not positive but looks like #6 jic fittings get some steel caps ,cap cylinders off see if they hold .

I added a jl sub sealed enclosure 60 lbs right up front and it didnt affect speed at all,I also removed silent thunder box.Of course no speed gain just more noise,put it back on.Sure is fun trying...

My 271 came with a labbed 28 4 blade bravo prop and it was terrible wide open was the only time it worked.I switched to a p5x 24p 5 blade and results were great,got on plane easier and stayed on...

Boat came with labbed 28 bravo top speed 71 terrible prop for me not impressed lots of slip.Sold it need a small tweak for a little more rpm 100- 150 on p5x.
