I always bring my drives all the way in and tabs...

I always bring my drives all the way in and tabs all the way down. Once it gets moving decent bring the tabs up to the three setting and start trimming the drives out.

The cummins are 8.3s. Not sure about model of the yanmars but they are 400hp I think. Pretty compact engines. Both boats are 40' I think. I agree with you on the 3208s, the only thing they are good...

I have a 35 lightning on a 12k side tie HH. Fountain emailed me the trailer support drawings and built bunks from that. A little trial and error involved but it wasn't too bad. Good luck!

I would love to see Fountain build something with engines from a good builder and put arnesons on it. I'd bet it would be a lot more boat for the same or less $$$ than a merc setup.

A local marina here had a special wand for their pressure washer. It ran sand and water at the same time. Took barnacles and bottom paint off quick and easy. I will see if I can find out who makes it.

If you have the space I would go 40x60 if possible. A friend went 30x50 and I did 40x60 and the difference is huge. Not a lot more money either.
